  1. Apologies if this question has been asked recently.  I cannot seem to find an answer to this question.  Can anyone tell me if any Carnival ships are sailing from FLL during the month of May 2020 and May 2021.   For some reason it seems block off with no sailings.  Thanks for any information provided.

Just returned from our cruise and was a little disappointed with the beach chairs at Grand Turk. I thought I'd red a post that chairs are somewhat free at this port. That may be so but I never found one. Got off the ship, it was crowded! Went to find chairs but first vendor stated $25 per day for two chairs. Same with 2nd guy. In fact there were many vendors available right off the ship. Wound up getting a front row chair with a close up view of the cruise ships. Granted beach and water were great but would rather have open water. Interestingly another vendor came by and asked if we had paid and was somewhat intimidating. Decided to go for a walk down the beach toward the coast guard pier. As I walked, price went from $25 to $15 to $10 with less crowds and better view. We soon realized the view of open water was much better than that of the ship. Decided to write off the $25 in favor of nicer chairs at Reef Shark Bay and Grill. View of open water, beach service and free wifi. Chairs were only $15 and were nice. I highly recommend you try the local beer.

Lesson Learned: In Grand Turk if you want to sit on the beach in a nice chair walk further down the beach just off the pier. Don't fall for the tourist trap!

Thank you for your post.   It is my understand the chairs are free and the vendors are actually scammers.    Hopefully when we sail there in May 2020, these scammers will no longer be an issue.

    Hi all,

Summer 2020 is now open for July & August. I noticed some Western and Eastern Caribbean itineraries, along with a Southern itinerary from Puerto Rico. I’ve been checking everyday, and although the Eastern Caribbean is tempting, I’m patiently waiting for Southern Caribbean out of Port Canaveral. I hope those are open soon, if Carnival hears me!! Lol

I'm waiting for Southern Caribbean out of Port Everglades.  I have family and friends that ask weekly, what going on, we usually have up to 18 months to pay for our cruise.   C'mon Carnival, get those rates out please!!!!

  4. Can't say for sure. However we are thinking of doing the 14 day Hawaiian Int. In January 2020 if it is offered. Talked to Carnival about a month ago. Wad told that the remaining schedule for January thru April 2020 should be available mid July. So would guess you will start seeing May 2020 around the same time.

Sighin' . . . I guess the May 2020 rates will not be available for another 6 months. This wait is painful . . . ;p;p;p

  5. I see that the Panaroma has their itinerary posted up to December 2020. Any guesses/idea when the ports in Florida will have May 2020 sailings rates available? At this time, only booking up to April 2020 are available.

    Thanks for your response!

  6. So this is my first time ordering CHEERS! It will also be my Honeymoon cruise, so we thought we'd go all out, which is why we got it. I've always been against it, thinking it wasn't worth it. Finally priced it, added in the fact that I can have bottled water, specialty coffees, Powerades, etc. and decided, this was a really great option for us.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but I just want to clarify (and forgive me if it has, because I know how some people get on here if they have personally seen a question more than once..lol *insert eye roll here*)...

When it comes to the 15 drink a day minimum, that's only for the alcoholic beverages right? I can have as many coffees, pops, virgin pina coladas, and bottled waters as I want each day right?

If this is true, I just grew to love the CHEERS! package even more!

    Hi hon . . .

Just an fyi, if want to order Powerades, Vitamin waters, Honesty Teas and Pellagrino (sp?) with your specialty coffee, they will actually make you wait five minutes to receive it. No wait for the bottled water when ordered with coffee.

Justin had me drinking Grey Goose XOXO at $18.95 a shot (loved it with lime) and there is a cognac in the Steakhouse that is about $25.00-$30.00 a glass (1/2 glass). I hear it was very smooth and I believe it was a Hennesey James, but I could be wrong. Make sure you try the Alchemy Bar! I couldn't tell you the name of the drinks they "invented" for me, but they were very good. One drink had blueberries . . .

Should you order a shot in the dining room with the Carnival Shot glass, they will charge you for the glass ($5.00), not the shot.

    Hope these tips help!

I very excited for you. You're going to love the Vista!
