I got an upsell email and upgraded to a junior suite for our 25th wedding anniversary cruise in November. Not telling DH and trying to figure out the same: how to surprise him! He doesn't know anything about the cruise other than the date, where we're going, and that we had a balcony room.

If I know him, we'll walk in, I'll say SURPRISE, and he'll say, "How much more was this cabin?" :eek: lol

Can't wait to enjoy it! All of you enjoy your surprises!!

Found a website that shows Roatan port schedule - in addition to the Carnival Magic (my cruise), the Emerald Princess will be in port. Do you think there could be any ships added to the schedule?

Very interested in LFK in November 2014, but I'm concerned about how crowded it sems to be after reading your posts. How do I find out how many ships will be in port the same day as our ship? I can't find any websites that list that info. Any help would be appreciated!

We did a 5 day last year and went to Nachi Cocum in Cozumel. It was a wonderful experience and I would go there again for sure.

I saw some nice excursions in Belize for cave tubing. Some friends of mine did it last year and loved it.

Still haven't made up my mind!!!!!! I appreciate all of the input, though.

I keep reading where people get hassled in Jamaica and I just don't want that.

I'm going to check out excursions for both cruises.... still haven't made up my mind.

We don't really snorkel, we like the beach and the water. Ruins are nice, but it gets hot.

I am going to check out the beach excursions, especially the adults only in jamaica. I have heard some scary things about Jamaica, so we were a little hesitant.

Thinking of taking a 7-day for our 25th Anniversary in November. Since we've never been to any of these places, I'm wondering which cruise would be more romantic: 7-days to Honduras, Belize, Cozumel or 7-days to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel?

Wanting to relax, see beautiful beaches, have a little fun, and be somewhere romantic.

Hi - this is a great thread. I am interested in the horse drawn carriage tours, I think. I read "@PSkinner, I've been thinking of your situation the last few days. The streets in Merida are slightly uneven, with steep sidewalks. So if you came into the city, your mother would have to watch out where she is walking. One option is to take one of the horse-drawn carriage tours to look at the architecture. Besides being quite picturesque, the animals appear to look healthy, too."

Does anyone know if the carriage tours will take you wherever you want to go and the name of the vendor?

Still looking for something to do in Progreso - want to take in the local flavor and culture - I enjoy that. Ruins sound fascinating, too. I need to make some decisions.

Let me just say that I think what you all do here is so kind. I was able to give two dresses to someone through this thread and it was great!

I look forward to having more to post here once I have time to clear out some more clothes. I am plus size 24-26w, so haven't seen much I can wear, but I still like seeing all the pretty things you exchange. :)

I need to clean out closets. Both clothes and shoes. Who would be interested in sizes 14-22 and size 10 shoes? Might even have some med & lg tops. Seems like most women on here wears either a lot smaller or larger than these sizes and not many in the middle. Maybe it would be helpful to start a thread and give sizes that we are looking for?

OK, back to recycling.

 

I sent out my first package last week. It made me feel really good. I got the shoes out of my house and on to someone who (hopefully) will enjoy them when I did not. So if anyone is thinking about posting something to recycle, please do! You will make two people happy!

Here's the dress I posted about last night. It's a size 20 - worn only once and is very pretty and sparkly, but not overkill.

Lucy - maybe this would work for Kym? My daughter wore it with a sheer wrap and it was very nice.

The blouses are all 3x - they fit, but are too short for me in length. I have a problem with a big middle and these blouses all hang in a way that makes me look pregnant. Ugh.

The first black/white blouse is a button-down - polyester.

The purple pattern blouse is sheer and I have a lavender cami to go underneath.

The black and white blouse after the purple has ruffles down the front and is lined.

The Chaps shirt is a heavy long-sleeved t-shirt.

The black and white long-sleeve - last pic - is a sweater.

These were given to me by a good friend who lost weight. They are in excellent condition.

I'd be happy to see them get new homes!! Thanks for looking! :)

I am attempting to load some pics here. The black dress was worn once, size 20. All of the blouses are 3x, but are all too short in the torso for me. In very good shape!

This is a great site and its nice to see so much generosity here. I am going on first cruise in May and am looking for a formal top to wear with black pants or maybe even a long dress. I am plus size, sz. 22W and wondered if anyone has a top/dress for sale or trade, etc.

I do better with sleeves or something I can wear a wrap with because I am not comfortable with my arms showing. Thanks!
