  1. Hi Leah! I emailed Mario last Sunday and haven't heard back. Was he quick to get back to you? Typed the address just as above. Only 7 days! Thanks, Emily

    Emily,

I'm so sorry I just saw this. Yes he was and always is quick to respond. Resend it again. Make sure to share what suite you're in and maybe mention I said how helpful he was with our needs. Let me know how it goes but for sure resend now.

Stay calm and cruise on :)

  2. Hi Leah! Emily here from the March 8th roll call! We're in a grand suite also and I was wondering if you've been in touch with the concierge yet for this sailing. I really really want to get a cabana on Coco Cay. ;) Looking forward to meeting you!

    Hi there :)

I've all ready been in contact with Mario. SR_Concierge@rccl.com

Notice the underscore after the SR. We have asked to reserve cabana #4 we had one in Labadee and well worth it. Great meeting place instead of a sea of loungers. Plus the Majesty will be there that day. Send him a note today. Mention you're a suite guest and cabin number in the title. What suite do you guys have. We have a two bedroom on 7. I can't wait.

  3. This is amazing news!!! I wish Royal would publicize more! We always have to travel is suites, one for more space and two because of priority boarding, so my sons sensory doesn't go off. These extra steps are even better! He's come along way but this would have been great years ago for our whole family. We never traveled because of his autism but during our Disney trip discovered the soothing motion of te ship calmed him and he had no issues. It was the first family vacation we ever took, he was 7 and now 14 and have been cruising ever since!!! This is a great program Royal has been a part of for over a decade!! Keep it up please.

  4. I got mine on the Allure last year and they gave the bag for "free" as long as you purchased the 8 beers. It was all domestic and Corona last year on the Allure. When I went back I think they gave me a $10 discount on 8 more ($29) I believe. Was worth it.

I will bring it on the Freedom this year and see what happens, it they don't give the discount it is still a great cooler for the pool.

That's what I was thinking. Great to keep your drinks cool. I'll use it for ice when entertaining company at our upstairs bar at home. We collect items like this from all our cruises and our guests think it's neat to come over and have a drink. They never know what kind of glass or cup they will get.

  5. My Oasis sailing was my first cruise. I booked an Owners Suite, A Grand Suite, and a JR suite for my family. I never heard anything from either concierge for the duration of that trip:(. On my Adventure Cruise Sylvia:D:D was very helpful & reached out to me serval time prior to our sailing!

Maybe Oasis and Allure are too big. However, with that much invested in suites on one cruise you would think they'd be eager to please and help. Obviously you had many people in your party and could use a little attention.

  6. The only one that did not email us ahead of time was the Oasis concierge. There were two of them and a joke. They never greeted us or even spoke to us. All other ships have reached out to us and have been quick to respond back. Indy and Serenade have been the best so far. You can always email them yourself.

  7. They were selling them on Freedom last summer for $10 at the pool bar. Been around for a couple years but promotion keeps changing. originally a Budweiser deal, free bag and discount on re-fills. I got mine free on Allure I think, but paid full price for 6 Corona's. There is an opener on the side :D. no discount on re-fill. it must vary by ship

Thanks :) I just heard back from our concierge and he said they have them on the Serenade so I'll get one in a couple of weeks. Woo hoo!

  8. Has anyone tried to get this recently? I was on the Oasis two years ago and Indy last year, didn't see them but would love to have one. Maybe the Serenade will have them. I spoke with C & A today and she had no clue what I was talking about. I sent our concierge a note to keep an eye out for them and to tuck one away for us if he can :)

  9. I am sure you will have a blast on the boat. You are leaving the weekend after Mardi Gras, are you there for the festivities?

Unfortunately not, we are just cruising. I was suppose to stand up in a wedding over this past weekend in NOLA but the groom was involved in a bad accident so they postponed it. It was going to be held in the square with a traditional parade after. Oh well:confused: enjoy your cruise and Mardi Gras:)

  10. Last year spring break we had a huge problem with soot. They cleaned twice a day and had to wash our carpets midweek. We we're compensated for this and RCCL were very apologetic and commented how this was far from normal. However, we would not have changed rooms or views for the world!!! It's a great location and we've hadn't had a regular balcony room since. We were on a carnival ship without any problem and will be on the Serenade in a few weeks again enjoying the view from the aft. It's worth the price and any chance of soot.

    Enjoy your cruise. :D
