Here in the uk we are sold a 20 day carribbean cruise and we stay in the same cabin. Not classed as b2b and we don't get 2 credits just the 1. Last time we did this we went to the Everglades but what happens this time if we don't want to do a trip ? Do we get off and reboard ? Confused !!
As stated you have to get off between the two cruises, the US Customs/Immigration insist on an empty ship before allowing the next set of passengers to board. Princess has an "organisation" in place for this - just be patient and don't be surprised if new passengers get on before you, proof that organisation can be chaotic! It could be worse, it could be San Juan where we got back on with the luggage.
Something to note, if you visit the Captains Circle Desk on board they will set your cruise history to reflect the 20 Day cruise as a B2B (2 x 10 day cruises), and any previous cruises of a similar ilk.
