Update from ship: people are up and walking around, calm. Food venues not fully up and running. Pissed off people, understanding that we have been living off Pringles & m&m's for the past 24 hours almost. A lot of people have entitlement issues, it's actually really not that bad as some people make it seem. I was told the windjammer is up and running, but it's a mob of people right now and that the crew actually shut off elevators to that floor. Still waiting on official update. Guest services looks packed full of people.

So I have a stupid question. Now keep in mind - I haven't been on a cruise yet. Going in April for the first time.

 

But my question is if the passengers are to stay in their rooms - how are they eating?

I am on the ship. Eating at the minibar, small can of Pringles, some candy, beer and soda. Water of course.

There has been no official report or anything. In fact, the last update said they will update us at 8am tomorrow. Winds are stil at 70knots. Not sure how anyone can sleep. I sure can't.

If the roof collapsed on deck 14. Everyone should have been notified that we will be disembarking tomorrow so everyone can prepare to travel home. Poor communication on Royal's part

Maybe Ryan can allow public access to the video? It appears only his friends can view it.

Sea's are better. Not calm by any means. Not extreme like they were. I still can't walk without getting sick. The stewards are going door to door and handing out bananna's, water and candy packages. But the announcements come every hour and are usually very vague. I'm a bit dissapointed, but it is what it is.

This was completely avoidable.

Just updated, still in place in our cabins at lease for a few more hours. continues.

By no means am I complaining at all. Royal is a great company and regardless of whatever happens I know that we are in great hands. Never once have I been worried. My family is calm. I am on here with a nurse and firefighter and they were helping the elderly walk and get where they need to do. Things like this do happen.

That's me standing straight up. It gets kinda comical...I know the crew is doing everything they can to keep us safe.

On the 9th deck. Things were pretty intense before, but have calmed down. Now it's just a lot of rocking from side to side. Lots of damage and broken things, all very minor. From my past cruising experience, communication is a bit delayed. We still have no idea if the itinerary will be changed at all. Ship is completely shut down, no dining, nothing. Not a big worry on my account. It's very challenging to stand up and walk. Just have to stay in bed and ride it out. I wish that they would update us more and let us know if any of the itinerary will be altered.
