  1. Trying to decide how much Internet to purchase on our Princess cruise leaving Seattle on Sept 15th.  Since we stay fairly close to the land is there cell service on board?   I won't be online much but need to be able to be in contact in case of emergency during the cruise.

  2. We're looking at a late summer Alaskan cruise next summer. We've been before in June Will many of the same excursions be available? What about the whale watching? I know weather is hard (impossible) to predict and that typically it's colder and rainier. Any other tips about cruising so late in the year?

  3. While this is my second Princess cruise my last one was Alaska and we never worried about beach towels. Are there beach towels available to use and take on excursions? Don't want to pack one if I don't need to.

    Thank you.

  4. We're flying into Miami but sailing from FLL. We need transport from the airport to our hotel. Is it best to uber? Taxi? SHuttle from the airport? We fly in the day before so plenty of time and don't live from MIA until 5pm the day our ship arrives back into FLL.

    Thanks in advance

  5. We did the bar hop with our 19 yr old in January and I'm doing it again in Feb with girlfriends.

I think for the 3 of us in Cozumel we had $100 cash and didn't spend it all. We ate at 2 different places and had 1 drink each other than the shots at each location.

    We then tipped.

Awesome tour you will have a blast

  6. we had a regular balcony that slept 3 (drop down from the ceiling) with our teenager and it was fine. We have also done it with a balcony that had a couch that was made into a bed. Rooms are small granted but you're not spending hours in the room and for sleeping purposes you will be fine

  7. I was on this cruise as well. Your review is spot on. We had a great time. Weather was a little cool. We were amazed at how many kids were on this cruise. Little ones, school aged and tons of college kids. We like the Red Frog Pub but didn't like the fact that it was a pre-teen hangout on this cruise. These kids had no adult supervision and didn't know how to act in a public place. Other than that we loved every minute. The Magic is beautiful.

While i wasn't surprised about the number of college kids (ours was one of them) the school age ones did surprise me. I didn't notice any of the pre-teen crowd in the Red Frog Pub they must have been down by the games. We sat at the bar when we were there.

  8. It was worth every penny. We were just on the Magic (Jan 3 - 10). The line for check in was huge for 1030-11am. We just walked in. Getting off the ship was a benefit also. The ability to use the special line at Guest services was invaluable as there was always a long line.

Getting into our room immediately was awesome too
