Hi Ladies,

I am getting married on the Allure in 3 weeks time.... we board the ship on 27th April and have been told that we are getting married on Friday 2nd May at 3pm... we are getting married at sea by the Captain... we are both just so looking forward to THE most relaxed wedding ever...

Ive had my final fittings for my dress... its just perfect and I cant wait to wear it for longer than the timings of my fittings!!

My fiancé is going to get so much attention aswell as we are both from Scotland and he is wearing a kilt... cant wait to see him in it!!

Not long to go now!!

Ill answer any questions that I can on how I arranged our wedding onboard as I know I asked 10,000 questions on this board when we first booked our wedding.

I dont know about you all but its now less than a year till i get married on the Allure...27th April 2014 we set sail

but i cannot sleep! tooooooo excited!!

If this is me just now phew i dont want to see what i am gonna be like when the its only a few days!

Jojot, your wedding cruise sounds wonderful. It is only recently that RCCL actually can do weddings at sea. That was not an option when I was looking into getting married on the Allure. I would have opted for that idea. I got your friend request awhile ago, but could not get it to work. Finally did get it to go after trying very hard, but still not sure really. So you are going on the Allure and getting married, getting off, and then cruising towards the UK for your honeymoon on the Independence? I am not sure what the TA meant. The message boards are new to me. The entire trip is going to last how long?

yeah we are getting married next year whilst on the allure then on the day we come off the allure we board the independence for a two week transatlantic cruise from America to the UK. .the whole trip will be just over 3 week's long..cannot wait....

and exciting news is... I got my wedding dress yesterday. ..so excited! !

We have recently organised our wedding on the Allure aswell :).. we are getting married at sea so I don't know the exact date of our wedding until we get on the ship as the Captain will advise when he has free time on his schedule...we are on the 27th April 2014 cruise...

I have had similar experiences with the RCCL team... you can only hold your wedding booking for three days without a cruise booking.

We are doing a week on the allure then a TA back to the UK straight after we come off the allure...

We had to wait on the TA dates coming out so we couldn't book the allure first...

After booking our cruises I thought it would be really quick booking the wedding however it took over a week for the team to get in touch..that's after me complaining to my agent and it ended up a member of the UK team calling me...

I found it so hard for the Miami team to get in contact however that all changed after I received the wedding contract and faxed it back to them.. now I get responses like lightening from the Miami team..

it kinda felt like they weren't interested in your query but once you pay the $$ for your wedding package they sat up and took notice... that's just my own personal views..

But everything is all good with the team now...

So wedding is now paid for, think ive just about found THE dress..hopefully have my mind made up by the weekend...

I love your review and im totally addicted to it! I actually wooped with excitement the other night as i thought i was up to date with your review and when i logged in i had 4 new pages to read!

Ive been on the Oasis and i was still saying "Wow!!" four days into my cruise!

We are getting married on the Allure next March so i am loving your review as there are a few differences to the Oasis....

By looking at the restaurant reviews i dont think we wil be in the MDR either!

Take care in New York and i would really recommend that you go and see Wicked if you can... its an awesome show and ive seen it five times now and would go back and see it another 5000 times! Amazing! Its the only show that ive been to where they have a standing ovation at the interval...its that good!!

Loving all the hints and tips from everyone else aswell!!

Im sad again as ive caught back up with all the posts.... cmon people more tips feed my review addiction please!! :) hee hee

After my cruise i am heading to Orlando (I-Drive), Can you advise the best method of transportation (budget friendly) to get to Orlando from Port Everglades?
