You might want to check on that expiry date. Information I saw posted here on CC said that those credits had been extended to 2023, though the listing on My NCL wouldn't be changing.
I spoke to NCL today and my fcc will expire if I didn’t use by January 31,2022. I have to pay off my April cruise by this date or it will be gone. Please everyone be sure you know your deadlines. Don’t lose your fcc and credits. I tested positive and couldn’t board in September but POM gave me fcc back. And yes it has to be used in 2022.

Looks like its sitting in Nassau Bahamas, check out the NCL Escape Bridge cam.

Coco Cay is up and running as of May 2019, the only thing left is the private area with cabanas being built
over the water which will open in December 2019. Check "you tube" for the reviews. Looks like a fun island.
We will be there in June on the Adventure of the Seas and can't wait! Happy Sailing!

Thank you for the picture. I also read mixed reviews. It's definitely far from the restaurants and I usually choose an aft cabin for fear of more motion in the front. Hopefully the weather will be smooth sailing!

I am considering this cabin, which is in the very front of the ship for May 2019 cruise. Does anyone have any current pictures, some show the beds sideways or
faceout from under the window. Please offer any feed back if you stayed in it. Thank you.

I was wondering if they have a "silent disco" on the Summit? I've read a few older reviews that mentioned it but nothing recently. Thanks

What to do on Summit?
Just enjoy the experience!
Yes, We will!!! Thank you to everyone for your great advice. We are going on the Summit!!

Just take a look at the two ships. If you want to "Escape" to Water Slide Tubes and other children geared activities and water sports, take the Escape. If you want more adult geared activities, take the Summit. Last summer in Bermuda, both ships were docked and we spoke with several passengers on the Escape...without kids. They WISHED they were on our Summit.
Thank you for that comparison, we just booked the Summit. The Escape reminds me of the Breakaway so its sort of the "been there, done that" feeling. I am positive we will have a great time after reading all the above comments and most of all just being on a cruise is the best feeling.

Done the Bermuda trip on the summit several times, lots to do on the ship. Trivia contests, educational seminars, the usual entertainment in the theater and lounges, They have cooking demos, wine tastings, etc.
Another thing that may matter is Celebrity does not allow smoking in the interior of the ship, we’ve been on NCL ships and in some places it’s like a chimney especially in the casino
Thank you for your advice. I agree about the smoking on NCL. They even have a smoking lounge by the pools and we know
there is no smoking on the balconies but it happens.

Hi All & Thank you all for your comments. Being on the Gem and Breakaway for the past 4 cruises, it's time for a change. Leaving from NY is easier for us, but willing to try something new. With the price differences, its very enticing to book the Summit and keep watching for a price drop on a Balcony. The reviews I've read are so conflicting. "nothing to do after 9pm", "over 70s crowd","only Country music"? We are between 58 & 65 and hoping there's someplace to dance the night away and have a midnight snack? 3 days in Bermuda will be the highlight (been there a few times too). Anyone else want to add to this? Happy cruising!

We are considering the Bermuda cruise on the Summit this summer, but heard there's not a lot to do. Please
give me something that would make me interested in sailing on her instead of the NCL Escape.
We are 2 couples with no children in tow. We like to keep busy and enjoy the evening shows & singers, any
daily games or cooking demos. Thank you for all your advice.

Actually there is a zip line at the end of the line which takes you back to the beginning of the course. Just remember to bring
your sneakers, they wont let anyone on with flip flops or sandals. I've done this on the NCL Breakaway and I believe the Escape
has the same course.

No, it doesn't matter about the color, just be sure to have your name and all info that is required on them. Its better to have them attached before getting to the pier. Make sure the room # is correct too. Have fun!

I'm a little confused. I thought I just read that NCL was adding so much more to their MDR menus then why discontinue the lobster? I thought they were looking to improve the whole dining experience since it was becoming a bit boring. Hang in there maybe its not gone forever.

Thanks for writing such a great review and the pictures were a bonus. I too looked forward to your daily posting. I feel like I was on the cruise with you and your family. The best part is I get to do it again in 2 weeks..Happy Cruising ;)
NCL FCC will expire
in Norwegian Cruise Line

Just putting this out there. Be aware you must spend your fcc before it expires on January 31,2022. It doesn’t matter when you are sailing. I was informed by a NCL reservations rep that it will be gone if not applied to a reservation for 2022 and doesn’t matter when final payment is due. Please call them if you have any questions before it expires. Use it before you lose it.
