Probably not, but they are still right, all cruise lines have this inserted in their contract of carriage verbiage.

I am in my early 50s and weigh approx 295 and I have snorkeled on Carnival , Royal Caribbean, Disney and on numerous "Private" excursions no one ever has asked my weight or weighed me. I would just go unless, he has problems getting around or a medical condition.

I travel this route frequently, almost always Southwest and it seems I get best price about 6 to 7 weeks out. If I know it is around a busy time (spring break, xmas, etc) I always book as soon as flights available.

We just returned from our cruise on December 22nd out of Old San Juan. We saw the old man! he stopped us and started his story. We told him he was famous and we would assist him by contacting the police. He stated no police, we then told him how he was on cruise critic board and was now famous, He then hurried off, lol.....
