  1. We were on Sunshine a few weeks ago and had the same problem. We couldn't get the dining time we wanted and we're wait listed for YTD.

We have a 4 year old and have always had a set dining time so that we can take him to camp as soon as dinner is finished. We've done this for the past 6 cruises.

Well we decided to give YTD a try. We were paired with a fantastic wait staff on our first night. From then on we simply requested their section every night at checkin. We had to wait once for 15 minutes and the head waiter actually came and found us and took us to the table himself before the pager could go off.

Our kid loved them and to be honest it was the best dining experience we've had. We also loved not feeling like the afternoon and early evening were dictated by hitting a specific dinner time.

We will now only use YTD. My only regret is that we didn't try it sooner!!!

  2. I will second what Sana said. I'm glad i brought a fleece for our May cruise. Especially at night. The casino was larger, but there are more guests on board. Tables filled up quickly in the evenings, but there were a nice selection of slots available (my wife is a slot player).

    Have fun!

  3. We booked our cruise on 4/18/15 leaving 4/23/15. The next morning (4/19/15) I remembered to check and sure enough, I snagged not 1, but 2! (we have 3 cabins going). I've also booked it 20 days out before on the Glory.

It can and does happen as people get calls from the upgrade fairy, booking from an OV into a suite or simply canceling their cruise.

    Good Luck!
