  1. From my experience when they had the old camp carnival they had a few late night parties that were a set fee and the rest of the nights were a hourly fee. Now that they changed the program to camp ocean all the nights are a hourly fee and there is no more late night parties like they use to have its more like a baby sitting service with movies and video games.

  2. I always get early saver if you do just watch the prices and you either get a price drop if not paid in full or a OBC if you already have your cruise paid off. You can do this as many times as the price drops up to 2 days before tou set sail. You are not limited to just one price drop

  3. Read the Daily Bulletin every evening and sort out what you want to do the next day when you are not on a Shore Excursion. :)

My wife swears by the evening shows. If you are on B2B I would check if the shows are repeated from the first week on the second week. My wife says some might be.

Whatever you decide on make sure you give yourself some time to sit and relax with a nice refreshing drinks. :D

Personally I am looking forward to lots to do lots of new places to see, lots of good food to eat and lots of new people to meet. :) Also to some time off the ship in American ports so I can search for some of the new National Park quarters. ;)

I think we are on the same cruise 9/25 are you going to the meet and greet? If you are I will look for some park quarters for you, I usually just spend mine. Did you collect the state ones? If you need any of those let me know.

  4. I am going on my first NCL cruise in 9 days aboard the Dawn and I am very excited to try a new cruise line. Can anyone give me some tips on what not to miss and what type of activities they have on board. Also am looking for any info on the mystery lunch such as cost and menu. Any and all things Dawn greatly appreciated. Thanks

  5. Go have fun. A few years ago I took all my kids and grandkids on a cruise there was 21 of us two of my grandsons age 1 and 4 at the time were quit a handful to put it nicely, and I was dreading the dining room well on the last night a gentlemen at the table next to us had to stop by and let us know that they were the best kids he had ever seen on a cruise. So you kids could be like my grandkids were and just totally amazed with all the new things that they were just in awe the whole time. I really wondered what happened to my real grandkids the whole cruise.

  6. When we were on the Magic in May they didn't have the late night parties. Some of the parents thought the late night babysitting were the parties but it just wasn't the same. My grandson loved the parties and I know he wouldn't like the babysitting all they did was watch movies and play video games so the grandkids that were on that cruise with me only went for about a hour a couple of nights.

  7. On my last new England cruise it was round trip out of New York, we did go to some of the same ports, what I enjoyed the most was just getting to see different places. We did mostly city and country side tours went to some city gardens and the lighthouses I really wanted to see the fall colors but the weather was crazy and the colors had not started changing when we were in Portland the temp was in the 90s I really didn't expect it to be so hot neither did the people that live there. This time I am coming out a week early renting a car and am going to go looking for the fall colors. I see that you are on the same cruise as we are.

  8. 40 days until I will be sailing on NCL for the first time was hoping people could tell me a little about Dawn and what type of activities they have on her and what's not to miss. Any and all info would be great. Also dose anyone know what time they start boarding? Thanks everyone

  9. It means "First To The Food". Basically, you get a green tag with your pic on a lanyard that lets you go to the front of the Lido deck buffet lines and MDR. It pays off during lobster night. :)

Not really, it means( faster to the fun )it really wont get you ahead of any food lines and you don't get a lanyard with your picture on it, you get a sticker on your ship and sail card
