I usually travel with a large group, and I am the group leader. I will make the reservations for everyone. On the Dream back in 2015, I had a total of 26 people who wanted to dine at the steakhouse. The reply that I got back was:
1)There will be a limited menu
2)Who will be the main contact once onboard
3) Contact your travel agent, they will need to authorize us to proceed with this reservation
4)One credit card payment will be taken for all guests. And it was due by a certain date. Which was almost a month in advance.
5)Will need a name, confirmation number and cabin number of all 26 participants.
No way was I going to let them charge $910 to my credit card, and have a limited menu. So the other option was to split up the group into 2 different times, but we will be seated all together. And will be able to order from the regular menu. The first 13 was seated at 6:00 and the second group was seated at 6:30. The Sail & Sign card was charged individually at the end of the meal.
Then in 2016 on the Magic, there were 25 of us that ate at the steakhouse and the Cucina del Capitano with no problem. I couldn't get the original time/day that I wanted, but that was alright. We ordered from the regular menu and everyone paid for their own meal.

This just happened with my sister and friend that I was traveling with at Port Canaveral. When we got to the terminal and they noticed that they did not have their boarding passes, so they tried to pull it up on their phones. It would not let them sign in. So when we got to the door, they just show ID and entered. When they got to the counter it was no problem since they had completed everything online. Just showed the proper ID and onto the ship they went.

No I did not have to pay any taxes. I always make sure I declare everything on customs form, because I know I'm going to get stopped/pulled over. With the liquor I will total it up and write alcohol and the amount. I was asked how many bottles I had, was I planning on selling them and who were they for? Then he told me to have a safe trip back to NC. On my last cruise I had the same amount. I was pulled back into the customs area, where I was asked if I knew the custom limits (1 liter). I recited it, then he asked me what I had in each of the boxes. The customs agent proceeded to open every box and look at each of the bottles, also went through luggage. He said he was looking for the proof, size of the bottle and country that it was made in. I was told that since I was honest about what I had I was free to go. What they were looking for were the dishonest people. A few years ago I was pulled into the customs area with about the same amount and had to pay about $28 in taxes. I want to say it was the Port of Miami.
