  1. I have done beer tasting once or twice on different ships. It is offered on many, but not all, sailings. On the Wonder it was in Cadillac lounge, I believe $25 and I think an auto gratuity of 15% was added. We got 5 beers, nothing really unique, but it was fun nevertheless. The ones I remember in the line up were Bass ale, Sam Adams, Heineken, and a couple other domestics like Bud or Corona. I wished they had more craft beers to try, but Disney has improved in this respect in recent years so it might be a better line up now.

    Cheers!

  2. Does anyone know why the coffee in the MDR and Cabanas is so bad? In my opinion, this is one of the biggest deficiencies of DCL. It actually isn’t hard to make good coffee in large volumes, as proven by diners all across the country. The other problem is no real cream! It drives me crazy to have to use their “non-dairy “ creamers or ask for a carton of homogenized milk (to only use a tablespoon or so!). Oh well, first world problems I guess.

  3. I just finished a 5-night cruise on the wonder, sailing from San Diego. This was my first time on the ship since dry dock an I thought she looked great! New carpets throughout, cleaned up staterooms, and some updates to the deck layouts. Yes you can tell it’s a 20 year old ship, but she looks good for her age. :)
