    There is a number to call if you need a certificate but the system only shows one jab for me and despite about ten phone calls they can’t seem to sort this issue out.

     

    I fear I may have to cancel just because I can’t prove I have had both jabs except on the little card you get

    Hi Broooce I received an invite for my Covid jab in the post today, even though I’d had both my jabs. I called the number on the letter to cancel the new appointment and was told that my 1st jab hadn’t been recorded on the system. The person on the phone asked me to provide the batch number of my 1st jab and she then updated the system. The batch number should be on the card you were given.

     

    The number to call to have the system updated is 0300 084 0004 which is different to the one you call to get the certificate. The above number is open until 6pm Mon-Fri and until 1pm Sat &Sun. Hope this helps.

They called to say the refund has been requested from Marella and they asked if I wanted to rebook with Marella (Marella will give £200 per adult) or another cruise company (TA only deals in cruises). I asked for a full refund and the agent said "no problem" it will be processed asap.


    MX-Drew did you receive your refund yet. We were booked on this same cruise and our TA is advising we won’t receive our refund until 60-90 days from requesting. We requested about the same time as you.

Yes we will be on Spectrum OTS and just stopping in Oman for 1 day.  Unfortunately there is a lot of conflicting info on line, and I didn’t want to risk issues by going onboard without the necessary visas. From your replies I’ll now stop fretting 😉

  7. Can anyone from the UK who has recently visited Oman advise if they needed to obtain a visa before travelling.  I’ve asked this question to both Royal Caribbean and Visa Central (CIBT) but their responses have not answered the question.

    Problems/comments: During our cruise which sailed on 22/04 we experienced an intermittent loud knocking and whining noise. It sounded like air in the pipes and came from beneath the cabin, causing vibration on the floor. It occurred at various times in the day or night, both at sea and in port. We complained and X did the right thing by moving us to another cabin.
