I was looking up any threads on the Sunshine, and I see that you recently cruised on it? What did you think of it? I ask because you have been on a couple of the same ships as myself.

 

Also, off topic, but your user name seems familiar to me. Were you ever on a board called "GF"? I remember you from the Gap section (if you're who I'm thinking of).

lol yep that's me :) The Gap section was life at one time ;) We had a great time on the Sunshine, so fun. I have NO sense of direction normally, but was able to figure my way around on this ship pretty easily. All of the different food places were nice, service was great, lots of yummy drinks. I'd def go again if I get the chance!

Saturday on Sunshine, can not wait!!!

We're going on Saturday, we pre-paid for Cheers. I'm looking forward to it, and so is my husband. If 1 of us or neither of us weren't big drinkers we wouldnt get it. I intend to get good use out of it though ;)

Sounds like a challenge, I accept! ;) We're going for 7 days though.

we're getting it for the 1st time on our next cruise. Usually we spend between 6-700 on drinks, soda package, and milkshakes and such, so I think it will be worth it to us, because we can drink all we want, and not worry about finishing something if its nasty.

Have never tried it before, but looking forward to 1 in Nov. Not too big on burgers cooked "well" though, prefer med rare-med.

3 port days is good

Last carnival cruise I started tipping extra, and it really did help my service. 15% should be enough, but honestly extra helps a lot, I was surprised.

I think its fun to dress up, and its a good time for us to get family pics too

they call every time I go to the website....

Best thing for us was from our MDR waiter. My daughter who was about 4 at the time got really sick, and we were unable to make it to dinner the last night. He knew how much I enjoyed my MDR meals, so he was able to sneak some food to me through my husband. It was really sweet.
