Just depends on where you enjoy losing your money more.;p

If you're really paranoid about not having a passport you could expedite the process by going in person to the office that issues passports in Philadelphia or NYC. There is an extra $60 fee.

You'll get six credits instead of three towards your Crown and Anchor status.

I have a bizillion points with Verizon precisely because their offers and "discounts" are basically useless if you read all the fine print and restrictions. I can never use them!

Sadly, according to RCCL's web site, the Connoisseur Club (cigar lounge) located on Deck 5 will be turned into a card room/library after November 14, 2016.

Do they still provide the Wow cards to hand out to those that go above and beyond?
Sent from my KFTHWA using Tapatalk HD
I didn't receive any WOW cards on my last cruise in August. Perhaps if I had asked guest services or the loyalty ambassador I could have gotten one.

My husband and I took our daughters to DRF many years ago when they were 6 and 9. The six year old was not able to negotiate the falls and had to climb the steps while the rest of us climbed the falls within eyeshot of her. I wish someone would have told me it would be too difficult for such a young person. My nine year old was basically "pulled" up the falls as you had to link hands in a group.

What is the "fish" site??
Read post #30.

I wouldn't mind an electronic version if their RoyalIQ app was actually reliable. On Quantum in March it was not working more that it was working. Don't try to get help between 1-4 pm as there is no one available.

My husband and I took a honeymoon cruise on Song of America in 1983. We stopped at Nassau, St. Thomas and San Juan. My only knowledge of cruising was from watching "The Love Boat". Our inside cabin was TINY. Our cabin steward was on call 24/7 and had an uncanny knack for knowing when we were gone so he could make up the room.
Back in the day, one could get RCCL match books and I have one in my collection. Great thread for reminiscing.

I have not had a bad meal at Portofino's. Chops can be hit or miss. Chops was very good on Quantum this year. I also agree that Giovanni's is good. Not sure which venues are on ROS.

Beware that whether or not the porters take the case of water is entirely at their discretion. Sometime I've had no problem checking a case of water but three years ago at Port Canaveral, they would not take it and it was a PITA carrying it onboard myself. The rooms were not ready so I just left it in a corner near our room and luckily it was still there when I went back for it when the rooms became open.

DH and I used our free drinks in the restaurants on Quantum last month.

On Quantum last month, I paid $14 for a pina colada. When it was the drink of the day, it cost me $8.

I am also just off the 3/21 sailing. One of the major improvements are actual wash basins in areas like the Windjammer entrance, ice cream station, Diamond and Concierge lounges. They make you watch a video on hand washing (wash at least 20 seconds) at the muster drill. By the end of our trip, monitors would not let you pass into the Windjammer without washing. I like that better than the Purell anyway. Other venues, insisted you Purell like the casino and other restaurants. I never touch railings and push elevator buttons with my elbow. Thankfully, we avoided Noro but DH woke up with a cold.

The card is inside a sealed envelope. So either the envelope is missing from your door or you see that the envelope has been opened. In both cases I´d suggest to call a cabin attendent or Guest Relations.

I love visiting guest relations on the first day!

DH and I are not fans of My Time Dining. We like the traditional main dining room with an occasional specialty restaurant. That being said, we will experience Dynamic Dining this March on Quantum. Just making the reservations was enough to give me a headache especially since their web site was not working properly. I haven't even looked at booking shows. I hope my dining reservations do not clash with the shows or I'll be back to square one.

Our favorite is Bikini Beach. It has a great restaurant and is far enough away from the all nude section. Some women may be topless.

Do they have the Sugar Free Red Bull?
Yes. Although the sugar free was a little harder to track down on the first day or two until they restocked the bars from the previous cruise.

You would think. Talked to the excursions rep. and he said it was St. John's beach. I can not find such a beach to exist.

My husband requests a cigar bar on every RCCL survey he completes and the end of the cruise. Yes, he cruises on ships without a cigar bar but really enjoys an after dinner cigar and brandy and takes advantage of it on the ships with an INDOOR area. The Oasis class cigar areas are useless. I hope Quantum does indeed have the cigar bar it is rumored to have.

Salmon and bagels are also available in the Windjammer.

Does anyone know what beach we visit for RCCL Scenic Antigua & Beach excursion? Also, if anyone has done this excursion, how was it? Thanks.

I've stayed at Hyatt Place several times and have no complaints.
Maho - Driftwood Boat Bar or Sunset Grill
in St. Martin/St. Maarten

Be aware that if you go to Sunset, the chairs are being rented by some dubious actors. They told us $20 for the chairs and "I'll come by and give you a massage". They made it seem like it was included but at the end of the 15 minute foot massage, they wanted another $45 and were very insistent. I should have pushed the point because the women interrupted the service when they saw the "tax man" then returned when he was apparently gone. I have been to St. Martin/St. Maarten many times and never experienced such pushy locals. They practically dragged you into the shops downtown.
