Situations over the past year have enlightened me to enjoy life to the fullest. If your finances are in order and you can afford it, there's no limit on how many cruises are 'too much'. Do what you enjoy NOW! Sail on :ship:

We try to plan two cruises and one land vacation a year. Cruising is our relaxation outlet. Land vacations allow us to embrace the local culture. Next year, I'll be doing a combo land/Med cruise to get the best of both travel choices.

In addition to the basics, try using an aloe vera gel after being out in the sun. It helps cool the skin and has great healing properties.

1- RCCL Harmony
2- MSC Divina
3- Carnival Breeze
4- Carnival Magic
All others I've sailed rank equally. This may change in a few weeks ;p

Not really... had a port-side cabin my first cruise and usually gravitate toward it when booking. No rhyme or reason, it's just my preference.

The only con is the $50pp penalty if you switch ships, sailing date or cancel.

MAGIC! Great ship (similar to Breeze), friendly crew, and a +++ if Dr. E is the cruise director.

We ferried over to Trunk Bay in St. John. Arrived early to beat the crowd and enjoyed an empty beach. Words can't explain how beautiful it was.

I also recommend Cortrans shuttle. Superb, friendly service!

Considering visiting the Burj Khalifa but have now read reviews which seem to say that even buying tickets on line, you can wait up to an hour in a queue to get to the viewing area, ie 124 floor and then due to the amount of people, some times three deep at the windows, you can struggle to see out. Would be interested in hearing from people who have visited if this was also your experience or does it depend on time of day you visit and did you consider it was worth the cost for the experience.
I just visited the Burj Khalifa last week. Try purchasing a fast track ticket from groupon. You can arrive before 4pm or after 8pm and not have to wait in the long queue.

I want to book MSC Davina for 2018. Based on what I see on videos and pictures, the ships looks very cool. Do you know if they offer the same basic things as Carnival do? Are their room sizes the same?
Do it!!! Carnival is usually my 'go to' cruise line and I decided to try something different this summer. Sailed a quick three day on Divina and LOVED it! The ship is BEAUTIFUL compared to Carnival. The crew was amazing and friendly just like Carnival. We loved it so much, booked the Seaside for 2018! :D The cabin seemed a bit more spacious than Carnival, probably due to the layout. Apply for the loyalty match program after you book!

I bought cards from Verizon Wireless and had to cancel a cruise and Carnival sent me a new card. One card for the total amount. I had to wait over a month. Their first excuse was they didn't have my address??? Really? I've only said with you numerous times.
Also, you can book the excursions online before the cruise and use the gift card. All you need is the number and the pin so you don't physically need the card for that. Also, you can buy cruise cash, bar cash with gift cards so maybe put the balance in cruise cash if you are that worried about not having the actual card.
I love my TA. Best I've ever had. She's available 24/7 it seems. Even on vacations she works. I had the best PVP also but my TA watches for price drops and I usually book group rates for OBCs. Neither one my PVP ever did for me.
I agree... our TA is wonderful! She works tireless hours to make ensure we get the best deals. It's a shame people blame the TA for things out of their control. But then again, 90% of this persons posts are complaints. It's unfortunate that Carnival has issues when it comes to efficiently reimbursing gift card cancellations.

I just got off the Divina yesterday after a quick 3 day sailing to 'test the waters'. My husband and I along with two friends were VERY impressed. So impressed, we booked a sailing on the upcoming Seaside ship. Take skewed reviews with a grain of salt. Try MSC for yourself and form your own opinion. Good luck

The Breeze is a wonderful ship! Sailed her three times and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Here are a few things to try.
Cucina de Capitano - Wonderful for dinner $15. Free pasta station at lunch.
Thrill Theater - Fun short movies. Try to get an unlimited pass for $15 instead of paying $7 a show. Ride the rides is the most fun show. Feels like you're on a roller coaster.
LOVE the spa and thelassotheraphy pool.
Red Frog Pub on deck five has rocking picnic tables on the lanai. Grab a cold beer and snacks to relax out there.
I heard Sea Dogs and the BBQ is good, but I never had the chance to try it.
Enjoy the Breeze!

http://www.travelsmith.com/travelon-underseater-carry-on-bag/luggage-bags/carryon-luggage/10927 this is actually the perfect bag. You might be able to find it cheaper on Amazon like I did. I got the set for around $60
Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
I have this set and its wonderful! Lots of room for carry on essentials and a change of clothes. Yet, small enough to maneuver through the airport security and plane with ease. It's a wonderful size and fits underneath the seat in front of you. Love the fact that it has wheels so you don't have to constantly carry it, and there's a strap on the back to attach to a larger suitcase. it also meets international airline carry on limits. You simply can't go wrong with this carry on.

Hands down, Punta de Vista Restaurant on the rooftop of Hotel Milano has the best monfongo! Try to grab a guide map from one of the information booths. They usually have a 2 or 1 mojito coupon for Punta de Vista as well. Enjoy :)

Cosol Tours is wonderful! I organized a private bus in November with him. Try emailing him directly at cosol966 at hotmail.com.... Enjoy your cruise!

This year I'm thinking we try and go to St Johns instead of just staying on St Thomas when we are in port. I know I need to take a ferry but what is the schedule? How do I get there and how much does it cost? What beach would you recommend on St Johns? How much should a taxi cost? I'm not looking to spend a ton of money. TIA
A group of us did this in November and it was the perfect beach day.
To ensure the most time in St. John and beat the crowds try to get off the ship as soon as it's docked in St. Thomas. Grab a cab to Red Hook ($10pp)' date=' catch the ferry to St. John - Cruz Bay ($14pp round trip), then hop in a taxi to Trunk Bay ($6pp). Trunk Bay charges a $4pp admission, but we were there before they opened and just walked right onto the beach. It's BEAUTIFUL there!!! I'd recommend leaving Trunk Bay about 3 hours before your ship leaves to ensure you have ample time to get back to the port. [/color']

WooHoo! I'm here waiting for this awesome review. It was GREAT sailing with you again :)

When you book on board Carnival gives you an on board credit (OBC varies based on the length of the cruise). In addition, they also give you two certificates for friends or family that book the same cruise after your booking date. The certificates are valid for 60 days after your original booking date. Hope this helps :o

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Stellaris Marriott hotel & casino!

Balconies on deck six are right over the outdoor public areas on deck 5. People will be able to walk by and see/hear you on the balcony. If you would like privacy, I recommend the cove balcony. I hear they're wonderful and you can see more ocean life. Either way, enjoy your cruise! :)
Spa cabin or interior with picture window

The interior window cabin is wonderful if you plan to be out and about most of the time. Spa interiors are great if you're all for relaxation. The amenities are worth it to me, especially if there's a thelassotheraphy pool onboard!
