I haven’t had much luck with the mudslides and switched to the Bushwacker(thinks that’s the name). It’s similar to the mudslide but much better taste.

I got mine about 58 days out, but only because I'd been checking the "Download edocs" page everyday to see if they were ready.
Thank you!!! I never thought to look there.

I bid on an upgrade from an OV to both a balcony and a mini-suite. On my ncl, when I go to the upgrade site, it says "Review your offer" and the bid strength meter is no longer active. When I click "Review my offer" both bids say "Pending." It has been this way for about two weeks. Where I have never participated in this program before, does that seem normal, and do I have a reason to remain hopeful? My cruise is 8 days away, and others who have bid my same amount on the same level upgrades have received confirmation that their bids have been accepted. If it does seem like something is not what it should be, does anyone know who to connect with to check things out or should I just take a chill pill and let the Universe unfold exactly as it should?
Mine did the same thing and then I received and email 48 hours prior to sailing stating that my bid to upgrade was not honored.

Thank you for all the wonderful input. So many choices, I really I appreciate everyone's ideas. I wasn't sure if shops are open in Dockyard on Sundays.

I am on the Dawn this weekend, arriving at Kings Wharf on Sunday. Can anyone please tell me what there is to do when we arrive. I have gone to Horseshoe Bay in the past but I am looking for alternatives just incase it isn't much of a beach day. Thank you for any help.

So I just received two emails, one for each bid, that said "we were unable to confirm your upgrade".

We have her booked for next week!

I am on that cruise and agree the roll call is very quiet. I put a bid on a balcony and a mini-suite and I have not heard anything. I am hoping that they go in order from OV up.

Most nights they are 7 and 9. 1st night only has one opening show at 830 i believe.

That is what I see on the most recent dailies.

The shuttle drops you off and picks you up at the bottom of the hill.
Thank you! I have never used them but intend to for this trip.

I was wondering if anyone knows it the mini shuttle, which I believe charges $7, drops off at the bottom of the hill closer to the beach or up on the main rode? I also wanted to know where they pick up for the return to the ship. Thank you in advance for any insights.

I remember him. He used to play in the lobby and in Gatsby, right? I did not see him this trip
Yes! Love him.....saw him on 4 cruises and had my fingers crossed.

There is no way to know which menu will be in the cycle when you board, so book specialty restaurants on the nights you want, don't worry about what is in the MDR. There is a 14 menu cycle, very difficult to find out what will be offered on your cruise.
I did not realize that! Thank you for the sharing.

The menus are the same as two seasons ago. I wish I took a picture. Same desserts, same classic entrees. Ariel was on the Dawn for our July 14th cruise. She did not mention leaving soon.

Thank you for your response. I am trying to plan which nights to book speciality dining for 2 nights. The Ariel I am referring to is a male. He had been on when I sailed a few times before.

Ariel was on the Dawn on the July 14-21 cruise. We saw her a few times in Gatsbys along with Jeremiah Joseph who was a great guitarist.

Thank you for your response. The Ariel I am referring to is a male though.

Booked this cruise last minute, traveling solo ~ Great price, great cabin! I've been in every category up to The Owner's Suite and Penthouse on previous cruises and this inside guarantee worked just fine for me especially since you can no longer smoke on your balcony. Embarkation was a breeze. I was in my cabin at 11:30. Deck 8 was ideal. Plenty of room and storage in my cabin, close to an elevator and just above the Casino and dining and below the pool and buffet.
BeeVee in The Venetian always knew my name and greeted me with a smile and desire to please making me feel as though I truly mattered. Rubellen was just as friendly and while making me towel flowers at lunch said "These are not pretty but they come from my heart." Oh!! Of course they were beautiful and I will remember that moment! <3 I also enjoyed eating at Moderno, Cagney's Orchid, The Buffet and Topsiders. Dante kept my cabin sparkling clean and well stocked. A fun week that went by way too fast!
Loved ~ The friendly helpful staff, my cabin, storage, towel animals, creative meal and dessert presentation, Casino, dancing to Big Band Music and Karaoke in The Bliss Lounge, Music in the Atrium and dancing at the pool, the line Dances and Mr. Sexy Legs Contest! St. George's little shops and $4.50 shuttle one way to Tobacco Bay. The Bermuda Triangle night time excursion with Tiana and Kevin was fantastic. I enjoyed watching the sunset and seeing the fish, coral and sunken ship. Learned that Bermuda is closer to Canada than the Caribbean but warmed by the gulf stream. Snorkel park was a short walk from the ship and $5 to enter. The water was great although a bit rocky in spots and there is live music, food and drinks available.
Didn't Like ~ Hard to get a chair by the pool. Pool was very small for the amount of people and children on board. The shortened hours in The Venetian and day 5 it wasn't open at all for lunch.
I Missed ~ The Chocoholic Buffet, Mints on my pillow at night and the poolside barbecue. Little touches that make cruising extra special for me.
Thank you for the information. Do you know who the piano player was? I am on the cruise on 8/18 and hoping that Ariel is on the Dawn.

Hello! I am on the Dawn in August and I am hoping to get a peek at the actual new menus for the Dawn MDRs. The links I have seen are for other ships and for past seasons. If anyone can post them I would appreciate it! Also, does anyone know if Ariel will be performing on the Dawn?

You would likely reach more people with direct experience if you also post this on the dedicated NCL forum:
Thank you!

Great to hear! Heading out on the Dawn 8/17! Thank for the updates!!!

Thanks to @esm54687 for posting these originally. I took the liberty of cleaning them up to make them a bit easier to read and creating a pdf.
Thank you for the Dailies!!! Now just looking for the Menus for the MDRs.

I was able to use gift cards a few years ago but was not able to on any of our 2022 cruises.
