Wow, it's quiet in here. Since you are not too busy right now DV, I have another question. The 7-11 Kiosk you speak of at Nordhavn St, is it in the station and is it manned early in the mornings? I'd like to buy the return train tickets to the airport before we leave on our cruise. Is this possible or do I have to buy it the morning we get off the ship? Martin

DV, thanks for all your help through the years. We visited Copenhagen in 2010 and are coming back for three days prior to our cruise on the Emerald on July 6th. We already have the Copenhagen Cards for pre-cruise, so we are set there. When we return on July 17, I could buy the over-priced Princess transfers, or use the Nordhavn train/Metro to the airport. We have an early flight to Paris, so I guess we won't have to go through the passport control stuff in Copenhagen. My question is, where do we buy tickets for this trip to the airport and how do we pay? We have US cards and Danish paper money left over from earlier. Do the machines take paper Danish bills or do I need coins? I think I saw each ticket is 36 DDK? (at the Nordhavn station) Thanks for your help! Martin

On our recent cruise on the Crown, on the booking confirmation from Princess it stated the following:
************** IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THIS BOOKING *******************
THE DEPOSIT OF THE FARE YOU HAVE SELECTED
IS 100% NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.
UPON PAYMENT, NO PORTION OF THE DEPOSIT IS REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON.
Above that it said something about a 5-day sale, and the deposit was not refundable.

Wonderful blog. Looks like a lot of tourists are there. We will be doing South America in a year on the Island Princess. Can't wait. Marty
