Wanted to offer some info after recently sailing on the Oasis. They DO actually keep track of towels. We had the first time out on the day of departure so I was at a late show, rushed back to start packing. I had planned to take two towels back when I got back to my room as we had used them before dinner. I was surprised and annoyed to have a nasty letter saying I was being charged for 2 towels. I had to return them at the front desk by then, when the line was 100 people long to get the charge removed. So, those little scans ARE keeping track, beware.
Also, saw many threads saying there was no outlet in the bathroom, there is! It's tucked under the top light bar area, just search for it or ask your attendant.

After continuing to call the regular phone number for RC and no one could book it unless is was showing up on my login, called the C & A help line, they were very happy to book my drink package (premium) at 20% discount. Gesh..still nothing showing on the website though.

So, May 14th Oasis still showing nothing(alcohol wise) but the beer/wine (at a 20% discount) on our cruise in Cruise Planner. Have called RC multiple times and they SAY they can't book anything for me that isn't showing up online and said IT knows of a problem (?) but they have no idea how long it will take to fix it. They all seem to act like they have no idea there is a problem?

So, I'm on Oasis on May 14th, STILL only one alcohol package showing up (after three days of calling RC) and they are telling me they have no idea why and to wait AND told me they couldn't book anything not showing up. Only the beer/wine showing up and it is showing up at 20% off. VERY frustrating

All but one of the alcohol packages are still missing on my sailing this morning, RC says no idea what the problem is. Sigh, will just keep waiting or is someone trying to tell me something LOL?

not only is this issue going on but all but one of the drink packages (alcohol) have disappeared from my sailing (May 14th Oasis) (for the last two days). RC says they have no idea and just keep trying? Anyone else having issues?

We have used Joyce Prince several times and love working with her. We usually book a full day but there may be other options. She is wonderful at making it unique for what you'd like.

I can find the links for Maya Chan but can't find Nohoch or the other, can you direct me to them on the web? Does Maya Chan have alcohol included in the price? Its website says open bar..in states that means pay as you go :o)
Thanks!
Two Oasis Myths Solved -Towels and Bathroom Plug

I'm frankly surprised at a few snarky comments. Both my comments were to assist folks that have posted questions/comments throughout these boards on both subjects and have the facts. Many suggested that the scans don't do anything, and many said there was no plug in the bathroom. I was researching both of prior to my recent cruise on Oasis. Thanks to several of you coming to my defense of my post. :)
I have been sailing with RC for dozens of years..literally. It was in fact, what I would consider, a "nasty" letter, and while, it's all up to personal opinion as to what someone considers nasty, I think a nice "perhaps you had forgotten to return your towels" and we've had to apply the cost to your onboard account. You can resolve these by 1) returning to your attendant (which wasn't an option) or 2) (a big part of my complaint) return them to the guest services desk because we plan to close the pool return EARLY on the night before you leave. The letter was a one page saying "you failed to return towels) and then a charge on the page and this was not a total statement, just this one item laying on the bed.
I had no intention of keeping the towels but using them on the night before a departure should be allowed and a RETURN to the pool should have been allowed (it closed at 8 I'm told). Given the busy schedules the night before departure..it was just a real pain to get them turned in with the line of about 50 people.
Regardless, this might have been only my 3rd or 4th post on these boards and I'm thinking maybe I learned my lesson (grins) - just read and take it all with few grains of salt. :)
