  1. Hi everyone,

I just booked this cruise today. Very excited to return to sea! I love Transatlantics and did one each year for 7 years in a row, almost all on Celebrity. I'm a Diamond cruiser on RCL because of family vacation cruises in warm waters. But I haven't been on a ship since my son was born two years ago September. I'm also really excited because one my best friends also just booked today. Although I'm a San Franciscan, my husband, son and I now live in London, UK. My goal is to walk from our flat, across the bridge to Vauxhall then take the appropriate trains down to Southampton and then walk on board the Navigator!

  2. That's right Cathy, I remember we had 5 ambulances waiting in the Azores just for our ship. The ship's staff said they almost ran out of refrigerated space. Then we lost another passenger en route to Spain.

Last year on the Silhouette we had to return to St. Maartin immediately after sailaway because of a medical emergency. Good thing too because that was our last port in North America before we sailed for Madeira 6 days away.

On the Eclipse a few years ago, we offloaded multiple bodies at our first port of call, Ponta Delgada. One died on the first night, one on the second, not sure about the others. So there IS some risk involved, but what a way to go!!!!
  3. Who is the current Master of the Infinity? I'm doing the TA on 4/29 from Miami to Harwich on the Infinity.

    Hi,

We are just off the Infinity and would like to send an email to Jenny Cerezo the Captain's Club Hostess.

Would any one have an email address for her? If so, could you please send it to my email address - hcain at att dot net

FYI, she told us on our cruise that she was retiring from Celebrity on February 15th and would be returning to Panama to start a business.

    Thanks

  4. safe and smooth sailing to all aboard the Infinity. I'm sailing her across the Atlantic in April.

davit was finally raised and secured at about 3:30am and we find the ship already on it's way to anarctica this morning when we woke up at 6am.

Turned out to be just a delay...but it looks like the problem is resolved (although we do have one less lifeboat).
