First cruise with Carnival ( Diamond on RCCL & MSC ) and i have to say that was the easiest checkin process.
The only slight problem Cheers and speciality dinning wasn’t on the paperwork printed off but it’s definitely in booking/order.
Oh and got the first boarding time 👍
What time was the first boarding time?

When you have a platinum check in date are you able to check in at midnight of that day? And is it midnight eastern time? Anyone know?

Heard from a family member currently on 1/27 sailing of the Breeze. Ship had to turn around for crew medical emergency so there was not enough time to make Cozumel. They tried to make Progresso instead but winds were too high to dock. 4 night cruise to nowhere is better than no cruise at all!

Reading all of this is really discouraging to me. Will Carnival ever return to being a family friendly cruise line with no testing, no masks, Camp Carnival, etc.??? What is it going to take to make that happen??

You can pick your time slot, but spaces are limited so if the time you want isn't available you have to arrive later. Plus, check in used to start around 11:30am in San. Juan and now the earliest time offered is 1pm...unless you get FTTF or are Platinum, then you can board whenever you want. From my understanding, the FTTF and Plats can board even earlier then 1pm. So now it is a real perk to have FTTF if you needed or wanted to Checkin earlier. Does that make sense?
Before, FTTF didn't make sense in San Juan because there was rarely a line to check in no matter what time your arrived. Now it makes sense cause it gets you on the boat before 1pm (assuming you prefer that which I do). We do not have FTTF but we did get the 1pm slot so that will work...still on board in time for lunch :)
We are platinum and I have selected the first time for boarding which is shown at 1 p.m.. Have any platinums done this cruise and been allowed on before 1? We are used to arriving as early as possible to be some of the first onboard but don't know if they are sticking to this 1 p.m. in San Juan.

If you can wait a couple weeks, I'll have them all :)
Next cruise: Carnival Vista - July 2016
Any fun times to be posted? Thank you!

I'll check tomorrow to see if my daughter has them and will post if she does. Whatever you do, do not miss "Flick," it was an amazing show! I think it was night 6.

That would be great if she has them. Thank you!

Does anyone have the funtimes for the 8 night cruise out of Barcelona? Would love to plan ahead for August!

Anyone please?

My daughter just got an email for this Saturday's cruise that the Liberty will be skipping Progresso and coming back to Galveston a day early to work on the thrusters. Guests can spend that day onboard in Galveston and receive a partial refund and $100 onboard credit. Sounds like the ship has been having some issues for awhile.

Another question...
When are the formal nights and when is the platinum party?
The platinum party was on Saturday, the last sea day at 5 p.m.

Did this in March. They give you a quick look at first because they know exactly when the cruises come and go but there is no issue with it. Just book your reservation for the 8 days on the website.
I actually dropped the wife and luggage at the hotel first and then parked the car in Fulton garage and walked to the hotel.
That is awesome - exactly what we wanted to do, but I wasn't sure we could. Thanks so much for the info!

We are arriving in NO the morning before our cruise and staying at a hotel that I believe is walkable from Fulton St. Garage. Can we park in the garage in the rooftop cruise parking the day before the cruise and just walk over from the hotel with our luggage to take the Fulton
shuttle to the port on the day of departure? Didn't know if rooftop parking is normally full because of the cruise that hasn't returned yet?

Thanks for the review! Did you happen to see the Legends show? Wondering who the artists are - have they been updated from prior years.

Such good information. Thank you to all!

For various reasons, we are thinking of purchasing trip insurance on this cruise though we never have before. I have several questions:
1) What happens if there is a hurricane that changes your planned cruise and
you don't have insurance? Are you out the whole cost of your cruise or do you get a credit to a future cruise? Do you get a full refund if you do have insurance and there is a hurricane?
2) What if you have to cancel your trip due to business/work reasons? Does trip insurance get you a full refund?
3)I understand it may be cheaper to purchase trip insurance through insuremytrip.com. Is there a reason to purchase Carnival's plan even if it's
more expensive?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

On a Facebook post last month, John Heald said the Dream will get the American Table menus on 7/19/15.
Thank you!

Does anyone know when the new American Table/Feast menus will appear on the Dream?

Did any of you recent Triumph cruisers half to deal with fog, arriving late into port, and messing up your return flights? We go the latter part of January and I've been obsessing about that a lot.
Sailed the Triumph this December and had no fog issues - beautiful weather. Sailed her the November before and didn't board until 4 p.m. setting sail about 9 p.m. due to fog. You never know.

We leave tomorrow. Do they still offer the "free" steak and "free" lobster in the MDR? As for the $20 Surf and Turf, what type of steaks and lobster do they offer?
They still have "free" lobster entrée on formal night and "free" flat iron steak every night.

I've read that it's the toiletries bag. Though I'm only a red level cruiser! I am curious about the free drink that they offer repeat guests. :D
We had the toiletries bag in December. Tried to trade for Tervis tumblers at guest services but they didn't have any. We were on 4 night cruise so no past guest party.

We are sailing on the Triumph in February and wondering if they have the unlimited wireless wi fi and what are the packages rates available?
We used the 45 minute plan for $30.00. My husband said they did have the
unlimited plan for around $150.00.

I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the casino band. Heard them a lot and they were popular with lots of people dancing. Had a young woman lead singer. Searching for where I put my funtimes. This was the 4 night cruise so no Progreso. We have done Progreso in the past and just shopped and headed to the beach for the cheap massages and beer. Our room was 7419. It is an 8B but you get the double size balcony. Strange we got the toiletry bag and not the photo album. They must have just been changing over.
Carnival opening up to all
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Are prices now higher due to Carnival being "open" to all guests sailing, vaccinated or not? Are the good deals now gone?
