  1. Will be sailing on the Freedom, January 10. Is 10:30am too early for a flight from FLL? We are Platinum and will do self assist.

PAM: As mentioned 10:30 is doable however there are a few things that need to fall into place.

    1) Getting off the ship early is good. Will the ship be late?

    2) Status at FLL? Do you have status on the airline you are flying? Getting in the short line thru security. The normal lines can be looooooong.

    3) Weekend mornings at FLL are in a word, BAD!!!

The only way to avoid lines at security is to have status! Good luck!!!

  2. I just remebered something that happened a very long time ago since I was re-reading all these posts.

Our family aunts / uncles / cousins / etc. all went on a cruise way back in 1977. Do you remember the song of Norway, that was the ship.

Everyone knew that one night they were going to have a geek contest that would require some sort of costume. My cousin (you know the type) pencil protecter glasses etc. He did not prepare anything, just wore his usual clothes and won!!!

  3. This thread IS HAILARIOUS.

OK here goes. This was from last September 09 on the Carnival Legend

Remember this is my first cruise ever and I am thinking does this happen all the time. My girlfriend and I were returning from the casino late one evening, got off the elevator, turned the corner and bam there she was!!!

A young beautiful well toned naked girl passed out in the hallway. At first my GF, who is a nurse checked her to make sure that she was breathing and that she was not in any serious medical trouble. Once that was determined I went and got a blanket from our room for her while my GF attended to her.

She was curled up in a fetal sleeping position with nothing on but some shorts pulled down to her ankles and by the looks of the carpet she had just peed all over. Once we got her awake and somewhat alert she was on her way to wherever? with our blanket.
