I saw a review that said you could pay 25 or 35 per person at the port and there was a trolly train that will take you through downtown Falmouth. It was around 1 1/2 long. Does anyone know if this is still available? Not through the ship you would do it at the port through a vendor there? Thanks 

I booked a GA balcony cabin on the Dawn and just got cabin number today for the Dec. 11th sailing. I booked a BD guarantee and got a BA midship Balcony so it was a an upgrade of two categories I think:).

Recently booked a cruise out of New Orleans for next year and since everyone here is so helpful and knowledgeable about these things I figured this would be the best place to start my pre cruise hotel search. Looking for information on where people stayed and what they liked about the place. Thanks in advance!

I usually just use Hotwire or Priceline and pick a 4 star in warehouse district. (For around $80/night can't beat it) I have received the Marriot at Convention center twice (it's very close to Terminal and close enough to catch the river street trolley to go to Jackson Square. I have also received the Hilton and Renaissance Arts hotel. All were nice. If driving in just park at Fulton Street garage. I use Uber or grab a cab if I don't feel like waiting on streetcars. It was around $6-10 buck to catch a cab each way into French Quarter and back.

I am 9 days out from a cruise and NO assignment as of an hour ago.

It's still out of New Orleans. I'm excited to try a different line. I've mostly done Carnival and one RCCL.

Maybe the bigger breweries, but try some of the smaller breweries. That's like saying all Liquor taste the same.
