  1. Don't forget that your bank might also impose a daily limit on your account, separate from any limits imposed by the banks in Europe. I'm not a regular user of ATM and I have to remember to check what limits there are on my account each time we travel.

Thank you, I will check with our bank.

  2. We are going to need either USD or Euro's to pay a private tour guide taking us to Berlin. Does anyone know if there is a limit to the amount of money we can withdraw from the ATM's there? We don't want to carry a large amount of cash so prefer to wait until we arrive in Berlin to use the ATM's..

  3. I'm having difficulty contacting Ship2shore tours for info on Berlin Tour. I keep getting an error message when I try to book them online and I've sent 2 emails with no response yet. Did you have problems getting through to them too?

We're using "ship2shore" for a private tour for 8 people from the port of Rostock into Berlin and back.

  4. Thank you so much for your reply. It was very helpful.

We were on the post-Iceland add-on in 2015 and the cost of the flight to Iceland was included at that time. The tour was quite nice. We took an early afternoon flight and arrived at the Hilton Hotel in Reykjavik late afternoon. The hotel is a bit out of the downtown, but downtown was accessible by bus and the Hilton provided a free bus card. There are quite a few nearby restaurants as well as the Hilton dining room.

The first day of the tour was the Circle tour and covered the geothermal areas , the UNESCO site where the tectonic plates meet, and wonderful waterfalls and views of the glaciers from a distance. You were gone all day with an included lunch at the geysers. The second day was a city tour in the morning and the Blue Lagoon in the afternoon (bring your bathing suit). All in all a very informative and enjoyable tour.
