This thread is bittersweet for me today. My mother-in-law Carol, who joined us on this cruise and who you see in some of the photos and videos, passed away suddenly early this morning. I am thankful to have chronicled our voyage here to help treasure the memories of our time with her. So glad we were able to give her an amazing trip before she left us. She had such a wonderful time. Thanks again to all for the positive feedback.

Really sorry to hear the sad news. A small comfort was that she was very happy and enjoying her trip. She's now on a different one. This chronicle will be a great way to remember her. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

I want to thank everyone who followed along with me on this wonderful cruise the past two weeks. Thanks for the kudos you've been giving along the way, I appreciated it! I think it turned into more of a "Live from Eclipse with a two day delay". Apologies if I was not able to answer all your questions or get information for you. Between the sporadic internet in our cabin and being very busy it was difficult for me to keep up with everything here. Hope you enjoyed this. :-)

I've just booked 6209 on Silhouette, I would guess it would be very similar to you cabin here? Its just on the other side of the ship so there is a good chance I will be seing the same thing:)

here are some photos of our cabin on the Solstice, which should be extremely similar to the corresponding cabin on Silhouette. This is a category 2D, or "fully obstructed". As you can see, the lifeboat is in the way, but there is still a great view. This room also had a nearly triple sized balcony. I also have some photos of a deck 6 cat. 2C on the Equinox which i can post if needed :)
