So I know La Cucina isn't everyone's favorite specialty restaurant but we booked during the Freestyle Choice promotion and got free dining for La Cucina, Le Bistro and Cagney's... There has been lots of recommended items I've found through searching for the other restaurants but La Cucina seems neglected in reviews. We sail on the Pearl this Tuesday for our first time on NCL and was hoping if anyone could share what they found enjoyable? We obviously want to use our promo. Thank you!

yeah, I didnt find out about sixthman and ncl till it was to late, I have signed up for the emails now hoping to catch a cruise next year. Some of the line ups were great!

I don't know if I could ever justify the price of a charter, I think I'd rather just cruise twice for the price lol.

The 4 day was the only thing that fit our time schedule but the Getaway does look awesome. It'll be interesting to see how NCL handles a partial charter as well. It's the Sixthman Grammy Festival at Sea and I believe it's going to be a 50/50 mix between charter passengers and regular guests. I've checked out the charter only venue schedule and it doesn't look like it'll interfere too much with daily activities. I'm sure we will have a fabulous time :)

Thanks for bringing the Best Price Guarantee to my attention. This will be my first time on an NCL ship and I wasn't aware that the company would give you a better price after final payment. It doesn't work that way on Carnival (our last 9 cruises were on Carnival ships) unless you book an "Early Saver" rate.

 

I'm sorry that the restrictions kept you from getting the dining package but I hope you enjoy your cruise, Rehr.

As an update; I sent out a few sweet but persistent emails and was able to secure my dinner promos that we're being offered with the sale. A lot of it probably had to do with me having booked only a few hours prior to when the sale started. I wasn't really expecting anything to come of them but I thought it was worth a shot. I'm definitely pumped for this cruise now and to see how NCL compares to the lines we've previously sailed. Happy sailing everyone! :)

It took a couple of phone calls and alot of waiting to get a room upgrade on the Epic for Nov 9th, I booked early and after paying it off watched prices steadily drop but eventually they gave me the upgrade equivalent to my initial payment. It isn't free dinner but maybe you can score a deal that way!

Yeah if I don't hear something from my email by tomorrow. I may have to make a few phone calls, it wouldn't hurt at least. This is our first time on NCL and I was about to add on the UDP when I saw this promotion. Haha now I'm in limbo about what to do I guess.

I filled this out at 2am this morning :) I'm hoping I hear something lol...

It irritates me because I booked a last minute cruise last night that would have qualified for this sale. I'm a bit grumpy, I would have loved the free dining :)

Glad we ordered ours just a few days ago for our cruise this Thursday.... Just in case.

You Online check In should be completed and printed by the final week of sailing, Cruise lines close the ability to print 3 days prior to sailing.

Less than 48 hours until boarding and I can still print my documents. I always wait until the last minute to print and have never had an issue.

When searching in Google (or whatever search tool you use) if you add

site:boards.cruisecritic.com after your keywords it should only bring up results from these boards.

All I do is turn off my Data Roaming while cruising. I don't mind the occasional incoming text as that's how my family at home keeps in contact with me.
