Hi- who do you recommend outside of RCCL for shore excursions in PV?

No. Points are based on original booking.
Oh ok, thanks!

Hi All,
If you do Royal Up to a Jr Suite and win- do you get double points?
Thanks!

Refundable or non-refundable OBC's?
Not sure... some is from stockholder's benefit, and some is from the RC credit card

I just did it today on the Allure
did you cash out at Guest Services or Casino?
-
Hi All-
We have some leftover OBC (we have already paid for excursions and gratuities). Curious if we can pull out cash at the Casino or at Guest Services to use at casino or for additional tips etc? If so, how do we go about that? We leave in 3 days so hoping this group will have some answers 🙂

Following! We will be on Harmony starting Sunday, hope all goes well for your sailing after the Alpha call last night. We got 2 on Symphony last year on the first night and had to head back to Miami, but we were back on schedule the next day, no worries.
Do you happen to know who the comedians are on your sailing? Guessing they'll be there next week too.
We will be on that sailing too, Nov 11th! Can't wait!

Above for nonrefundable deposits, of course ken is correct.
Fyi for refundable full deposit required and a little less obc, around $75 obc instead of the full $100.
OK so other than OBC, no real benefit? No lower prices or upgrades?

Hello all! We have been on over 20 cruises but have never actually booked while onboard. What are the benefits (if any) of booking Future Cruises while onboard? Do you get anything special? Can you ask for stuff? Let me hear your recent experiences!. I'm sure back in the day things were different. Thanks~

We are cruising soon out of Galveston. Does anyone know if the comedy sets are different each night? Our favorite entertainment are the comedians, so curious if they perform different material each night. Thanks!

That price seems insane to me.

We got off the Navigator in LA back on Mar 27, and getting off the ship was easy- no lines really at customs.. However the lines for taxis/ubers were RIDICULOUS and it took our uber driver at least 45 mins to arrive. I guess it's sort of a crapshoot.
There was some traffic to get to LAX...

What is the best/easiest way to check if your cruise price has dropped?
-
We just got off Navigator, and agree. The MDR was sub par.

Just got off Navigator (March 27), and it was our first cruise post Covid. We actually had housekeeping twice a day. Received Compass from room steward after we requested. Food was the main thing we noticed that was different (less variety, smaller portions, not as tasty). Still a good value, and we understand the reasons for cost cutting, but it was pretty noticable.

I wonder if this is because you need 2 unique sign on IDs to claim both of the free benefits? We usually travel with a phone and an IPad, so that should solve the issue I think..
I think that was it.

We were just on Navigator and we were told my free day couldn't be on the same device my husband used on his free day...

Considering a cruise in October- we have always just tacked on the RCCL trip insurance, but wondering if there is any better option out there?

HI, has anyone played pickleball on the Navigator? Wondering if it is worth it to bring our paddles or not.

Another thing to be aware of; the vouchers are good for any beverage up to $13. This includes things like bottled water, fresh squeezed O.J. at breakfast and beer, all of which are considerably cheaper than a $13 cocktail. The staff will (almost) always use your vouchers to pay for those lesser-priced drinks. If you plan on drinking cocktails and want to get the best bang for your buck, tell the bar tender not to use a voucher for your O.J. or glass of soda etc.
So.... do you have to tell the server when you order your cocktail that it is a voucher purchase? Or will it just reconcile on it's own on your statement... Haven't been on a cruise in a while, and we are Diamond so just want to understand the process prior to our March cruise... Thanks!

What is the best private tour company for Cabo and Ensenada? Nothing really showing in the app currently, but our cruise isn't until March.
Royal Trip Insurance benefit

Hello Fellow Cruisers,
I saw that RCCL now has a "benefit" on their trip insurance that will cover up to 90% of your trip if you cancel for any reason. Did I read that correctly? Is it really CFAR?
