Just gone on my cruise planner and the price for the deluxe drinks package is $49.99. I’m pretty sure it was $55 yesterday. That’s a saving of $130 for hubby and me on our 13 night cruise if I’m right

Wouldn’t it set off the smoke alarm though?

Thanks but we've already booked the Amelindo residence and its non refundable. We never thought it would cost this much from the airport, even after midnight.

We are going on a cruise from Civittavecchia on 31st July but due to DH work we can only get a flight at 8.30pm the night before so we have booked into a hotel near Rome Fiumicino airport.

We have been quoted €70 for 2 adults and 2 teens to go by shuttle about a mile and a half at 00.15am

Is this about right as it seems extreme to me?

I've just been in contact with two US ta's who deal with UK bookings and have been given a price that's another $200 cheaper:)

Going to go with one of them as I don't want to take a risk of giving a false address. Can't really believe the RCI guy actually told me to do that!

Which TA do you use Wendychloecruiser?

We are booking direct with RCI. It was the UK RCI guy who we spoke to. Should we be using someone else?

I have just tried to book a cruise through the USA site and the price is $1,000 cheaper than for the same staterooms on the same cruise on the UK site but the USA site is asking for a US address :confused:

When I phoned the guy said "yeah that's the difference. You could always book Through the USA site and put a false address as it's all done through email now"!

Do they not send anything such as tickets etc by post then?

And why such a huge difference in price?

We have a 16yr old and 14yr old who aren't into the teen club thing.

We are looking at a med cruise for next July and wondered if the Independance is much better than the Navigator? Both cruises go to the same ports of call but Independance would work out about £1200 more for 4 of us in the cheapest inside cabins. We want two interconnected cabins.
