  1. Hello,

For those who recently sailed to Alaska on Quantum, can you please answer the following questions:

    1) It's my understanding you have to pay for most of the activities (i.e., the iFly, North Star, etc.) that are otherwise free on the Ovation.  Is that still the case now that they moved the sailing from Singapore to Alaska?

    2) I noticed that the Asian-themed specialty dining venues have changed to more American.  Is that true of the Windjammer and main dining as well or is there plenty of Asian cuisine?

    3) Were there many folks on the Flowrider?  Do the boogie boarders and standup boarders share the Flowrider or are they different times?

    4) Were there many teens on board or mainly adults/seniors?

    TIA!

    Annabel

  2. Based on everything I've researched and read via cruise forums, Falmouth really isn't a great port unless you're willing to do an excursion of sorts, similar to Ocho Rios. Hope you get better response from others.

  3. There should be several kid-friendly options offered through your cruise line. I've looked all over, and it appears that walking around Falmouth solo isn't the best idea .. nor safest.

  4. Hello,

We will be boarding Freedom of the Seas on the W. Caribbean itinerary (Falmouth, George Town & Cozumel) and was wondering if there are nice beaches within walking distance of where we disembark at each of these ports? If so, can you please provide a brief description and let me know how to get to each of them?

Thank you very much in advance!

  5. I actually found the Compass', so thank you! We are sailing on FoS, E. Caribbean.

As for Family Time Dining, that sounds fantastic! Is that something my TA arranges or I need to arrange once onboard?

Sorry, 1 last question (promise) - Is there food available on Coco Cay? If so, is it included or for purchase?

Thanks again! You guys are awesome!

  6. Good to know .. we really need the early dining seating.

Just a few more questions, please ..

    1. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of a recent Compass for the E. Caribbean sailing?

    2. What are the times for Adventure Ocean club? Do we need to sign our son up during check-in or is he automatically signed up?

    Thanks again!

  7. Hello,

We've been on multiple cruises, but never RCI. Can't wait! Just have a few questions for the RCI veterans:

    1. Which non-alcoholic drinks are included? Milk? Juice?

    2. Since we booked late, we're currently on the late seating and wait-listed for my time dining. How do I change to early seating?

    3. We're on the E. Caribbean itinerary docking in St. Thomas and St. Maarten. Are there decent public beaches within walking distance of the docks or do we need to find transport to get to one?

    4. Do RCI offer stateroom upgrades either before or after check-in? If so, how do do so?

    5. Are kids allowed in the specialty dining restaurants? If so, is there a discount for kids?

    Thanks in advance!!
