  1. Hello. I plan on purchasing tickets in advance to the aquarium only in Atlantis for myself, spouse, and 3yo. We were going to spend a few hours checking it out for the little one and if time permitted, taking a taxi to the fish fry. There will be 4 ships in port the day we are there. Will Atlantis be too crowded to enjoy it? Again we are not doing a beach day there. Thanks.

  2. Hello. We will fly into MCO late Saturday morning. My initial thought was to stay in Disney Springs, and shuttle out the next morning to the port. We will not be renting a car nor have a car seat.

Now I am thinking it may not be a good idea to go to crowded Disney Springs on a summer Saturday evening.

I guess ideally we would just got to a pool for a while, someone for the little one, have dinner in the area (safe walking distance), and call it a night.

Can you recommend an area in Orlando or near the port where we can do this?

  3. Hello. I will be in Nassau with my husband and 3 year old in August. There will be 4 ships in port. My plans are to go to purchase passes to see the Dig at Atlantis. The other option is to do a 3 hour private tour. I am unsure of how much time we would spend at Atlantis and whether we should even go with 4 ships in port. We will not visit the water parks only the aquariums. I also would like to have lunch at a fish fry. I will have a stroller.

If it helps to know, we are doing a 3 hour private tour in Freeport the day before.

I feel like I am all over the place and need good direction. Thanks.

  4. Is the smell at the turtle farm very strong? I have read reviews that it is an unpleasant odor. How long is enough time to spend on just the turtle side? I am deciding if it is worth it or skip it in favor of an underwater tour. Thanks.

  5. We will have a 22 month old at cruise time. I would like to know if you took your stroller in port with you. If so, did you find it difficult to manage excursions with it? I cannot imagine taking the stroller with us to the beach. At the same time, I cannot imagine us carrying her when she is tired while in port. We are cruising FOS in early September.

In Falmouth we will have a private tour and visit Dunns River Falls, lunch, local tour, etc.

In Cayman we are deciding between the turtle farm or underwater tour, and the beach.

In Cozumel we are doing an island tour, chankanaab park, and beach.

    Thanks.

  6. The ship is in port from 8-4. The tour is at 12 noon ship time (11am local time). You meet at the tour's office which is a 5 minute walk away from the cruise terminal.

I think it may be best to choose this OR the turtle farm.

  7. Will be on FOS in early August. I need helping with planning the transportation to all of the places we would like to visit. We'd like to do a hour underwater tour at nautiluscayman dot com, visit the turtle farm, rum factory (outlet), and a beach before heading back to the ship. I didn't think about eating options other than Symour's Jerk Shack. Not sure when we'd fit this in.

Is all of this possible or will it be too much for one day? My husband and I will have a 22 month old with us. Thanks.

  8. Has anyone taken there little one in a specialty restaurant? I would like to dine in Chops on Freedom of the Seas on our anniversary. The plan is to have my 22 month old in the day care facility but I am not 100% sure she would stay so we may have to take her with us. What has your experiences been? TIA.

  9. We will be cruising with our 22 month old. Right now I am thinking of hiring a private driver and see the local areas and getting something to eat. I also would like to stop at a school. I would love to do one of the falls for picture opportunities (dunns river or blue hole), but I don't think it would be too safe since we cannot swim. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what to do in port or should we be pretty safe at one of the falls if we are not climbing? TIA.

  10. We are cruising out on August 31st with a 22 month old. My thoughts so far for pre cruise lodging are staying at an MCO area hotel, port area hotel, or downtown disney/universal studios area hotel. My main concern is staying at a location that is in walking distance to dining and some form of sight seeing. I do understand that downtown disney or universal studios will be more costly in terms of transportation. We will be arriving to MCO around 2pm. We are not swimmers and so the beach does not appeal to us. Thanks.
