  1. Hello, We are considering the Dawn for a Southern Caribbean cruise in December. We are looking at the mini suites and wondered if there is any coverage to them or can someone look down from the deck above onto your balcony. We like full sun, but also appreciate some privacy. I understand from reading posts I should be careful about picking locations as there can be noise from the pool or cafe. Any specific room suggestions are certainly appreciated. We haven't sailed NCL since we did the Jade for a Med trip, but love the islands so like that this is port intensive. Thank you!

  2. Anytime I travel any distance I bring facial wipes-like Pond's/Neutrogena/Oil of Olay, something like that. Ugh, I don't know what it is but my skin feels nasty after being cooped up even for several hours. So since those are already premoistened they work really well and you can use them on your hands too.

  3. Just a heads up-we recently stayed at the Condado Lagoon Villas-I believe it's the time share part of the Caribe Hilton, from a bid we won on Priceline. We were not charged any resort fee, though they did make us wait until 4pm to check in which was really aggravating since our plane arrived at noon. It was not an issue of being too full either, because when we arrived they said they had a room that was empty they just needed to clean it and it would just be a little while-2+ hrs later we finally got in. The Lagoon Villas were definitely not full based on the number of people we saw there.

Also we were not charged a resort fee, but we did speak with another couple who'd also rec'd their room through a priceline bid though they were in the main hotel and they were charged a resort fee (not sure how much).

People staying at the lagoon villas have full access to the resort also.

    Lovely resort, expensive food/drink.
