Yes I'm sure they posted on Facebook they were on the Celebration. They were on the two weeks we were on in June.

Usually all ships except Thomson that they offer discounts on in my experience!

We love her too! Off on our 11th cruise on her fir two weeks at the end of this month.:D

Anyone returning from this new cruise are they selling bottles of sprits on board. Going for two weeks on 21 May. We like to have a drink in the room when we go back.

Thank you for all the advice. Will probably change a small amount on the ship and take euros out as well.

We are off on the Celebration in May sailing from Dubrovnik and I was just wondering if anyone went last year on the Majesty and knows if we need to get their currency or do most place accept euros?

Also we will be going to Koper in Slovenia and Kotor in Montenegro, do these place take euros or do we need the local current?

We did three cruises last year one in March back to back inthe Canaries a week in July on the Dream and Two weeks at the end of September each time we had the gold card but there was quite a few with the blue card. Will keep a watch out when we go in a few weeks.

Last year when we went on the Dream in September, before we went I was asked on line to fill in a return passage form. I can't remember if it was a link on the site or I had an e-mail with a link on it. As we have just booked again for a cruise in two weeks has anyone else had one of these recently, if so was it an e-mail or is it somewhere on the Thomson site.

Can someone let me know which number cabins are the plus ones on deck 3 and 4. On the Thomson web site the colour codes don't seem to match the cabins. Planning to book a cruise but not sure what cabin is what.

Have you looked at the trips on the Thomson website that will give you details if there is one. Did you get an e-mail yesterday by the way changing the itinerary from Motril to Malalga for that cruise we are on it for two weeks from 27th September?

I think it is an L shape twin, I remember looking in one year, but I bet the ding going all the time when people are getting on and off with be annoying if you were in your cabin.

We have been a couple of times to Sorrento their is a lift up to the top of the cliffs from the beach below it belongs to one of the hotel and there is a small charge to use it but worth using. It can be hard to find but their is the odd sign about or if you ask at the information desk in the harbour they will direct you.

Unfortunately last year when we went, the night before the captain announced, much to the disappointment of the passengers 'we have heard that there will be a heavy swell tomorrow and therefore we have managed to secure a birth in Naples instead'. The was a heavy sigh from those who have been to Naples before at the disappointment of going there. The next day was lovely and hot and the sea was very calm.

Have they got any new sunbeds on deck 9 yet? Last year's brown ones were falling apart. They had seen better days when they took the ship over in 2010.

I hate Grumbleweed and we keep falling for him, Phil Doyle is good but not seen him for a few years. Foggy was very good and we saw Bernie Flint a couple of time on the Celebration a few years ago he was very funny. Did a sketch about turning into his dad both me and my daughter through that of here dad.

We got a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on our last cruise on the Celebration in March:).

We are travelling from Manchester on 14 March to join the ship in Tenerife for two weeks cruise.

As you have just returned from the Celebration, we will be going on the Celebration next month and I was just wondering if you knew:

1. Is Duty Free shops open on the evening at Tenerife?

2. Does anyone know if they sell Tia Maria?

3. Do they still let you have a bottle in your cabin?

Just received my e-ticket through the post will a note on the front stating 'we could not contact you at your e-mail address' .......

Funny they managed to send the booking confirmation to it and also the booking amendment as well nothing has changed.

Also quoted in the small print in say only 5 kg of hand luggage on the tickets, they are still having problems with that as quoted in the latest brochure 7 kg. I will have to take a photo copy with me in case I get a jobs worth. We had one last year in July at Manchester airport over my handbag.

Glad that the board is back up again, not been able to get on it for a couple of days.

Seen both of them and they are all very good. Is Meach still fronting the Peakles?
