I  note  that  you  state  booking  the  cruise  in  Australia.   I  live  in  Canada  and  have  booked  an  RCL  cruise  from  Brisbane to  the  Great  Barrier  reef  then  back  to  Brisbane.   What  are  the  rules  for  gratuities  in  this  case?

What  happens  to  RCL's  daily  and  other  gratuities  when  you  are  on  a  cruise  whollly  within  Australia?

:D We just returned from a 28 day cruise of the South Pacific, Hawaii, American Samoa and French Polynesia. When entering the harbor at Pago Pago, American Samoa, I took this photograph of the "Pacific Princess". :D

We will be travelling to French Polynesia in October on board the Pacific Emerald. Our cabin is on the aft end of the ship overlooking the wake on Dolphin deck. Will we be able to get a good internet signal either in our room or out on the balcony. This will be the first time I have brought a computer on a trip but we are away for 28 days and we each get 500 free internet minutes. Thanks for any information you can provide.

I haven't left home yet (live in Richmond,BC) and people are already waiting to board. On my cruise instruction sheet from PCL it stated that my boarding time was set for 13:30 / 1:30 pm. Do the boarding times really start this early ?

Go to Roberts Hawaii website where you will find a package of tours set up specifically for your cruise dates in the Hawaiian island chain.

I have found that you are much better off using a travel agent than using Princess to book your cruise. Princess seldom offers the extra OBC that your travel agent has access to. Obviously it pays to do some "blank" bookings for your cruise to see who is offering what.

Why can't cruise ships have a 30 min.(45,60) clock available for use. When you pick it up the deckhand or whoever winds it up then hands it to you to place on your chair/lounger. When time is up a loud ringer will sound letting you know that this spot is now available.
