I want to thank everyone who took time to read and respond to my inquiry. As SLSD mentioned, there are many reasons that one might follow a vegetarian lifestyle. For medical reasons Roger attempted to "cut back" on animal products last year, only to realize that he needed avoid them as much as possible to improve his health. However, sometimes it is difficult when going out to eat (especially with others) to find something besides salad and unadorned pasta...thus salmon occassionally. At home, he is the cook, and I eat what is served! Love reading all these threads and am hoping to meet some of you on our cruise. Bev

Roger and I are first time Seabourn cruisers - December's 18-day Orchid Isles & the Coral Coast on the Encore. We have been assured by customer service that he will easily be able to find good quality vegetarian/vegan choices at every meal - he will eat fish if need be. In February Oceania was most willing to accommodate (special menus 2 days in advance - but who can remember what one chose); however, it was great on effort yet just so-so on delivery. Next, on Celebrity, it was less complicated because the menu came the night before. Can anyone tell us what to expect and any insider hints? Bev

We are flying to Reykjavik Monday June 12th for the Iceland pre-extension of the Into the Midnight Sun cruise from Bergen. I am afraid that my carry-on will not fit the mandated 7.8" width (other dimensions are OK). Did anyone else have this problem? Bev

I am perplexed as to why our Viking Sky Into the Midnight Sun cruise from Bergen to Greenwich on June 17th is not listed on the Viking Ocean website - only the Viking Star cruising the reverse Greenwich to Bergen also sailing on the 17th. We had asked a representative months ago when we first booked...Just to make sure that it really was going to happen. Fortunately balfour was able to get CruiseCritic to arrange a Meet & Mingle since our departure is not on the drop down list, but no one seems to know about us. So just shouting out a Hi.
