Excellent thank you.
Looks like we will be beer and champagne people on our next cruise.

I have booked Princess Plus for next few cruises.
It seems like the better value vs Premier for us. We are mostly beer drinkers. The only drink above the $15 value I would like is the champagne at $19.00
if I get that, do I pay the full $19, or just the extra $4?

Thanks for the offer Schonert, but I’m an XL
i shall check out the on-line store.
I do have a cruise booked late 2021, maybe it will happen

I have a collection of Princess T-shirts that are wearing out.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be able to buy new ones on-board soon.
Does anyone know if they sell them on-line? I can’t find anything on princess.com

We are sailing round trip from Sydney, on the Sun Princess, from 30 Jan to 13 Feb 2018.
Can anyone recommend a good pre and post-cruise hotel?
Looking for good value, not the cheapest option but not looking for a super high cost experience either.

We are turning 50, and planning to celebrate in Tahiti.
Does anyone know if Princess will be there?

Thanks all.
Coffee machine looks way better than the old "syrup system".
Anyone know what brand of coffee they use in the machine?
-
I have heard that the coffee has improved?

Thanks, can we just carry the soft drinks onboard?
-
Good evening,
My apologies if this is an "old question". To date, we have been Princess cruisers, this is our first Celebrity cruise.
Can we bring soft drinks (Coke, Diet Coke, etc?) onboard at embarkation?
Thanks in advance for your help.

That sounds so great.
Sometimes, we feel bad for not enjoying the whole dining experience.
But the the reality is: we cruise to enjoy new places and our time together.
I think that is part of what I love about cruising: different options, that offer so much for everyone.

We enjoyed the buffet on the Emerald and the Ruby, but found the Star a little wanting.
It seemed to us that the Cafe Caribe was the "little bit extra".
I'm really curious, have the Royal and Regal upped the standard?

I have a terrible confession to make.... My wife and I aren't the fanciest of people.
Table service, etc. isn't that important to us.
After a few cruises, we aren't enjoying the main dining room as much as we did at first.
But we still like good food.
Good food in a self service environment (ie the buffet) is really what we enjoy.
Does the buffet food vary from ship to ship?
Given that the buffet is important to us, what ship would you recommend?

We celebrated last New Years Eve in the Crown Grill.
Amazing meal: filet mignon, lobster tails and champagne in the middle of the Pacific. If you can find a better way to end/start a year, please let me know.
I wanted to tip our amazing server at the end of the meal, but had no cash on hand. As I was writing the tip on the receipt, the restaurant head (sorry, don't know the proper title) told us not to. He said that it just goes into the pool, and that only cash tips went directly to the serving staff. And he stressed that wasn't necessary.
I felt bad, next time I will put some cash in my pocket. But I also understood that a tip was not really expected.

Same thing happened to me. I had to re-register on the web-site. Got my access back, linked instantly to my booked cruises.
Strangely enough, my wife's account was fine.

It was $6 a couple of years ago (plus your bank's fees of course).

Can anyone provide a recommendation for the Premier (forward) vs Penthouse (mid-aft) suites?
Another question: is the Concierge Lounge a useful perk?
-
We sailed from Venice is Sep 2013. We boarded on Saturday, sailed Sunday afternoon. People were boarding all afternoon/early evening.
We could leave/board the ship all evening, and throughout the night. The water shuttle ran until after midnight.

We are soon approaching a point in our lives where we can consider approx 3 months on board.
The one thing I know, this much time must be spent with Princess.
But where to go?
Should we take a world cruise, or focus on one area of the world?
Any thoughts?

I was looking at the dress code for supper.
What is "holiday casual"?

Does this mini-suite have an extended (i.e. oversize) balcony?
Is there a lot of noise from below?

We are booked on the Star Princess, 19 Dec 2014 (15 days) to Hawaii.
I was wondering if anyone who has taken a similar cruise can tell me if there were a lot of cildren on their cruise?

The train service is excellent, very convenient, and affordable.
But be careful with your possessions. Lots of pickpockets and bag thieves (they got my backpack in Oct 2010). Having said that, safe enough from a personal point of view.
Apply Future Cruise Deposit to existing booking
in Princess Cruises
Posted
I found this in the terms and conditions for future cruise deposits. https://www.princess.com/plan/fcc-onboard-cruise-credits/
Future Cruise Deposits cannot be added to a booking after the booking has been paid in full and may not be combinable with other promotional offers.
Has anyone ever tried to apply a future cruise deposit to an existing cruise (before final deposit)?
I have a cruise in October 2024, didn’t have any future cruise deposits left, so paid the regular deposit.
I’m wondering if I should pick up another future cruise deposit on our next cruise (next month). Not looking to get my deposit back, just thinking I could get the OBC.
I don’t want to cancel the existing booking, as the price has increased significantly.
