So if the UBP was part of the Promo, the 18% would have been included in the balance of our cruise "fare"? Ie, if we've paid in full for the cruise, we won't get hit with more charges at the end for the UBP 18%?.. Sorry, this is NOT in a Haven suite....

If we want to do a day trip with either Big Beards or Caribbean Sea Adventures.... which would YOU suggest?

We're entry-level snorklers, and I'm not a huge fan of being underwater with a snorkel... Big Beards site say they follow an underwater path?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated... and would we have enough time to do a full day tour if we dock at 8am and leave at 5pm?

Does anyone know if the Walgreen's near the cruise terminal sells wine? Don't want to lug my 2 allowed 750ml from Toronto if I can pick it up on the way to the terminal... :D

Sandcastles on the Beach in Frederiksted has a day pass and is popular with cruise ship passengers.

 

If you are willing to go further afield, take a taxi to the Buccaneer resort and enjoy a day on Mermaid Beach with a bar and great restaurant for lunch.

Does Sandcastles include food and drinks?

Anyone know if there are any good all-inclusive day use resorts in St Croix?

Looking to just kick back, enjoy the sun, sand and water with a few drinks..:D

I asked if I had a day or 2 to think about purchasing a package, and she said "if you purchase on day 2, we're still going to charge you for the first day.. so you might as well just sign up on day 1"

It must be a new policy they initiated 12/13/13, that's the date on the bottom of the page where it says: ^ Packages available to purchase onboard up to 4 nights prior to end of sailing.

Customer service doesn't know where it says this, and is sticking by their guns saying you HAVE to purchase first day. False Advertising or lousy internal communication at RCI? lol

Timing depends on itinerary and how many chairs you want. On a sea day, I'd get there before 7am if you want two chairs together.

I might just become a chair hog myself then.. lol not by choice, but good thing I'm an early riser up at 5am every morning.
