They are still redoing the cabins from what i see in various facebook groups. The ship goes to drydock in march for the transformation

thank you...i should have been more specific. we are sailing on jan 24th in 7373 and on the 28th in 6459 was wondering if either of those two had been renovated

  3. Just got off the boat yesterday. It was my first cruise, so I'm not sure I can give you the answer you're looking for, don't have any context to compare him to;)

But he seemed pleasant enough, a couple of my party got pictures with him. My only interaction with him was via anouncments. Did you have specific questions? I mean, everything seemed to run smooth, and I don't think he keel-hauled anyone...lol

LOL thanks for responding. no specific questions just curious if he was visible and "out and about" with the guests. did you happen to notice if the Quest game was offered on your sailing. it would have been an adults only event around 11 pm

  4. We were on the 1/7 sailing, which was supposed to be Adam, but we had Jess still. I can't answer your question unfortunately but I suppose it's possible you he won't be there for yours either? We loved Jess!

thats so odd...on his FB page he announced he was in town for that sailing. we were not fans of Jess, there were issues with us getting into port once we arrived in NOLA and the updates were practically non existent. she never even announced when we cleared customs, we saw people getting off the ship and assumed we were cleared.

  5. There is a large liquor store inside PM as well as one in the shops you walk thru on your way back to the ship. We were there in December and I thought they sold beer. They have good prices on tequila but not sure about anything else.

they used to sell beer but when we were there a few weeks ago they no longer sold it...i checked the pharmacy too LOL no luck

  6. Three best places to look for beer (primarily Mexican beer) are the Mega Store and Chedraui gocery store on Rafael Melgar before the main part of San Miguel and Covi Liquors in San Miguel. There is a gas station and small convenience store across from Puerta Maya, where many taxi drivers and car renters fill up. They may have some beer selection there. Not sure what brands or how much. Don't go looking for the BIG BEER brews from the US. Most likely you'll find Dos Equis, Corona, Bohemia, Tecate, et.al.. Working class islanders may know where to find Victoria (4%) or Leon or Montejo (cans). At Covi, you may find some Mexican craft beer from the Yucaton brewers like Cerveceria Primus out of Mexico City or Cerveceria Minerva out of Guadalajara.

great info...would we be able to walk from Puerta Maya? our plan is to sit at the little beach area and have some drinks. last cruise we bought a bottle of crown in the port shop and ended up drinking the whole thing SMH. this time we're gonna find beer :D

  7. OK thanks! Not sure how I've missed hearing about this all along! I'll keep an eye out next cruise, but I'm almost sure I won't be able to get DH to join in. Not because he's easily offended- he's just not much of a team event guy! or a loner guy! Come to think of it, he's not much into games or fun events at all.

OK, I just realized- he's a fuddy duddy!

phahah thats too funny! thats the great thing about cruising...we can leave the hubby's to do their thing and venture off on our own. (and then explain when the sail n sign bill comes later LOL)
