  1. Unless you're lucky enough to be where there happens to be one of those permanent wooden benches, there is no place to sit.

I went to the front desk and explained my disability and was told to ask the muster drill person but at the time he was loaded down with issues and everyone was all ready standing and all chairs were put up so we all could fit.

I did ask him if I could at least lean in the back and he did allow that. I was miserable and in a lot of pain and he could see that by my expression and gave me an apologetic smile. Due to many people being very late we had to stand there for a long time.

We even got yelled at by the captain on the loud speaker because there was too much talking. He takes this very seriously...

  2. Check with the front desk when you board. Some posters have stated that they have been able to muster inside, some of said it wasn't an option.

If it isn't an option, it may help if you follow the muster directions clearly. The majority of passengers attend the muster drill early. There is no need to do this. The ship will provide directions on which signals to pay attention to and when to leave your cabin to attend the muster. If you follow these directions you will reduce the amount of time that you need to stand at the muster.

    Good Luck.

I just can't stand in place for more than 5 minutes due to bad knees, if I could pace that would work. Just no standing or my cruise will be ruined due to swelling and pain. I will check with the front desk thank you all.

  3. I'm sorry if I'm repeating a continuous question But I couldn't find the thread.

Did I hear that if I have a special need that the front desk will arrange a different place for me to attend?

I was pretty much told by a Holland consultant that I must stand no matter how painful it is.

  4. We did the Princess excursion to Gumbalimba and had a blast.

Just a note watch out for the tree's I contacted something to where my arms and knees went crazy with an extreme rash that made me want to tear my skin off. over a week later I'm still on steriode medication. Don't know what touched me but it sure has been miserable.

  5. We received an upgrade balcony to a premium balcony two weeks ago... And I noticed that there are mini's and full suite's still available with only 30 days to cruise.. Not to sound selfish but can an second upgrade to a mini happen?

A girl can dream can't she? lol

  6. Hi,

I do sympathies with your monster scenario, ultimately I really believe that this form of dieting can help us to listen to when we are really hungry, when we are satisfied and give us back the control we've handed over to that monster. I found delaying beginning to eat every day really helped me because if I never eat before six in the evening then I limit the time in which I'm eating and therefore the calories I can consume, I do this even on the days when I am not fasting. It would not work for me to limit my calories on a feeding day, I would feel deprived and I don't think I would stick with it but we are all different.

If you decide to give this a try I hope it helps you too. :)

This gives me hope and a drive to do this right. Cruising Mar 29 so it will be nice to go in a better weight so I can move around better. I have lost 75 lb over a year ago but the weight became stagnate so this is going to give me that boost I need.

First day went great... now I'll ride my bike an hour and do leg lifts for 20 minutes.

  7. I think I'm going to try this diet. Currently I try to stay under 650 calories during the week days and then that creates a monster in me and I eat way too much on the weekends.

If I limit myself to 2 to 3 days of the 500 calories and then 1200 the other days I may find that I won't go overboard by the weekend but be satisfied but also in a loss.

Hope your all still here may have some questions...

Thank you for writing this thread its been very interesting.
