No, I have not been to India. But it has been on my list for a long time.

I do not read enough German to understand what is being written in the blog. But I did enjoy each and every picture. I am fascinated by the culture, the religion, and the scenery. To complement the ports of call and the Golden Triangle, I feel a visit to the Ganges and the religious connection is essential.

I now have a Roll Call for this cruise. I had done before. I guess the limited people on such a small ship does not lend itself to that much activity. Since payment due in a week or so, I am hoping I hear from someone. It is always nice having a name to look for.

I am starting a new thread because I haven't been able to find anyone on the other V to A threads going on this particular cruise. Maybe promoting it separately will help.

I am hoping to find someone on this trip who might like to stay in India a few extra days and go to Varanasi and the Ganges.

Or to just promote excitement about this trip.

We've requestsed a call back for the Singapore to Delhi March '15 cruise.

 

From reading the CC reviews things have improved since earlier cruises.

 

Since there is no thread just for this line, am I correct in assuming that there's no way to connect with fellow cruisers.

I am on that cruise. I started a thread but haven't seen any responses. Maybe too far away. I had been scheduled on an India one last year that was canceled. This one doesn't do a few things that the other did and that is a bit disappointing. Plus I have been to Singapore. That said, I am looking forward to the trip. I plan to stay a couple days in Delhi after and also get down the Ganges River. Looking for someone on the cruise that might like to extend a bit.

I am booked on that cruise. I was on one last year to India that was cancelled. Can't wait to do this one.

It seems like forever but I am sure the time will go quickly. Especially if I squeeze another trip or two in before.

Ruth, I am on the March 15, 2015 Singapore to India cruise. Was on one for this Nov that was canceled. I preferred the other itinerary but will make do. Anything to finally get to India.
