  1. Had drinks incorrectly added to my folio several times.  But on the Carribean once, my husband went to service desk to have one removed, and the person behind the desk asked him, "How do you know your wife didn't order the drink.  Were you with her every minute of the day?"  Yikes.  She did remove it after getting an earful.

If it holds 4 passengers, the bunks are mounted on the wall, and stick out even when closed. We took one look at the cabin and our hearts sank. This was early on a back to back. We had an obstructed OV on the first leg, and asked to be moved on the second leg to an obstructed OV, even though that is considered a downgrade. We did not see a single OV on that deck that did not have the bunks on the wall. There may be an OV cabin available for two passengers that you can change your booking to. We did not care for the setup with the bed under the window, but that may not be a problem for you.

  3. I have often wondered what the parents of infants in arms, or very young children do about tipping. I understand they must bring their own formula, diapers, baby food etc. The children are too young for the kids center. Yet they pay full fare. Aside from the room steward, I don't see that they have any interaction with the staff. Certainly not the dining room staff if they prepare and bring their own food and maybe eat in the Horizon court. I am WAAAAY past the age to deal with the issue myself, but curious.

  4. Can you still get hot chocolate with a coffee card or has this changed since this post was written? I think I read that the Unlimited Soda & More card covered hot chocolate.

The front of the coffee card we purchased a few months ago on the Pacific no longer had the hot chocolate included, and they wanted a punch if ordered.

  5. If you have small amounts of foreign currency that do not seem worthwhile to exchange, given fees etc. you can go into any Starbucks in the world and just hand over the currency of that country and have it added to a Starbucks card. No fees, no charges. I would assume current exchange rates. I don't care for Starbucks, so I have never personally tried this, but other threads have mentioned this.

  6. they hardly punched it last week on the CB. You also get unlimited hot chocolate.

While the TV commercial aboard the ship still states hot chocolate is included, there has been a change. Recently off the Pacific Princess. First few days hot chocolate free, then they wanted a punch. I argued the point, and that hot chocolate was punch free, but none after that. There is a new coffee card that looks identical to the old. But, on the front where unlimited brewed coffee, tea, and hot chocolate used to be are now the words unlimited brewed coffee and tea. I have a couple of each of the cards, so easy to see the difference.

  7. We took a hop on hop off bus right in Piraeus you can negotiate the price .we paid 18 euros each others paid 12 ...depending on the crowd It is just outside the port gates walk towards the town you will see it big red thing

In Athens they have yellow and blue yours will be red to get back just hold on to your ticket

Comfy ride with headset .it stops at the acropolis you can get off and visit here and everywhere else

We did the complete city tour and stayed on the bus .it was very hot and I was ruined out but I found Athens clean and actually not as polluted as I remembered .i guess the Olympics helped

The whole tour took a few hours

    Enjoy

We love the hop on hop off buses but I am concerned that traffic in Athens will mean the bus moves at a snall's pace. We will be there in November, so should be less tourists. What was your experience with the speed of the loops?

  8. Waiting in the theater for show to start. Small guy is holding 10 seats. Second row center, right behind me. Big guy wanted those seats. Pushed little guy right into the back of my seat. They spent the next ten minutes arguing over who was gay "you're gay", "no, you're gay" Talking smack. These men were not 15, they were 40ish. I asked server to get security, never happened. They then start to ask me who was right. I told big guy that small guy had poor manners, but what he did was assult. They all try to buy me drinks. Kept on arguing. JUST before show starts, big guy's wife sat down next to him and said "great seats, no problem getting them?" I jumped up, figuring fists were going to fly, but I was laughing too hard at her question.
