I can vouch for Francis on West Bay Beach.  She is the only person that has a massage table on West Bay Beach and she is set up down by Grand Roatan Resort which is by the big cliff.  She is clean and charges like 25 dollars for a 45 minute massage.  We use Francis every day when we stay in Roatan for a week.  She is precious.

West Bay Beach is the nicest beach.  Carnival would love people to just stay at Mahogany Bay but I'd encourage you to book with Rony or our favorite is Victor Bodden Tours.  You can have a private driver  all day that will take you to the monkeys, take you to the beach and to small market, or anywhere sightseeing you want to go!  We stay at Roatan a week once a year and West Bay Beach is beautiful.  It is some of the best snorkeling in the world!  You will see many fish within 20 yards of the beach!

I have been at a few islands where we could just book a snorkeling excursion directly from the beach without advance reservations. We aren't sure we even want to snorkel but a couple of people in our group might be interest in going out for an hour or so .... has anyone that has been to 7 Mile Beach near the Royal Palm resort ever just booked that day? Any info helps!!

Carnival offers an excursion that combines the dolphins discovery and the stingrays but I would like to know if someone can tell me what time you meet for the excursion and how long it lasted. Was there still time to hang out the beach before returning to the ship. Any info would be appreciated!!!

I was there a few years ago, but can't remember what we paid for admission and chair rental. Also, do they parasail from here?

We did the Victor Bodden Tour on two different visits to Roatan. We grabbed the 2.00 per person taxi up over the hill. I think we could have walked it just fine, but since no sidewalk we felt better just paying the taxi. It is like a 30 second taxi ride so we had to laugh that we took the taxi, but felt it was the safest since no sidewalks.

How many are in your group? Just thought I would let you know another option if you are interested. We booked with Victor Bodden Tours and had a private driver for 25 a person (that with a group of 4) and the driver takes you wherever you want to go all day long. We took a quick tour of the island, took some amazing photos, went to Victors home where you can actually hold the little monkeys, and then went to the beach for a few hours. The driver watched our belonging while we were in the water. We have used Victor Bodden tours twice now while in Roatan. You can check out trip advisor for reviews. Enjoy Roatan!! We are going there in January for a week and I can't wait!!!

A couple months ago while reading a review on cruise critic someone mentioned an app that they had on their phone that allowed them to text their children onboard when trying to meet up with each other. I didn't write down the name of the app and of I have forgot! I think you pay like a 2.00 charge for the app and then the texting is free. Anyone have any ideas?

My favorite thing about being at the beach is floating on a beach mat out in the beautiful waters. Is there a place on Seven Mile Beach that rents them?

We were planning on going to the Royal Palm but I'm still not a 100% sure where we will end up that day. Hoping someone can give me some advice about a great spot to rent my float!

We enjoyed the 4-d theater and felt it was worth the cost. I'm 45 and my mom 65 and we usually went after dinner sometime most nights.

We are at the Intercontinental tonight and love it. Booked through Priceline Express Deal. We walked about 4 to 5 blocks to Bayside Market for dinner.

Oh dear......our cabins are booked on deck 8 - AFT. I hope they are addressing this problem!

I apologize.....we were on deck 6 this cruise. Hopefully you won't have the issue on deck 8. If they are still having issues, it does help just a little to remove the vent cover from the ceiling vent.

Also no fans were available when we asked for one:(

We were on the Dream in July and our aft cabin deck 8 was very warm. We would sweat getting ready for dinner and could not use blanket at bedtime. We have cruised several times and this was the first time we have had an issue with room temp. They worked on it 3 times with no success. Our cabin steward said it was also a problem the week before. We were given a discount on our next cruise booking. We didn't ask for it... They offered it. Our friends were in a deck 8 forward cabin and froze all week! They loved it!!!

Looking for info from someone who might have stayed here after winning a Pricelince bid. I am wondering if they charge extra for the 3rd person if they are over 18 years old. I notice on their website it says that a 3rd person adult cost an extra 30.00 and I'm wondering if they will try and add that to my charges when I arrive.

I can book the Intercontinental for a Priceline Express Deal of 130.00 but I am wondering if you have ever had a problem of the hotel charging for 3rd person. I see on there site they usually charge an extra 30.00 for the 3rd adult in a room.

We will be cruising July 6th and heading to NOLA from Oklahoma. We were thinking of staying in Lafayette on Saturday night and getting up early and heading to NOLA. I had this settled in my mind as our plan and then started worrying about the chance of having trouble getting to the Port because of fog. Does this happen often? Thanks for any info!
