Just got back from sailing Constellation out of terminal 6.  Parking lot is about a 2-minute walk from the check-in area.  Drop off the bags with a porter, park the car (we pre-paid - sign was up indicating that they were sold out), and walk back to the terminal to enter the check-in process.  Wish the parking was covered, but it is close and convenient.

I pre-paid for parking at Tampa for Constellation (sailing tomorrow).  Parking pass says to scan the barcode on entry and on exit at the machines.   Do you know where the machines are located?

  2. Seriously?? It will be two floors below you and it's OUTDOORS with plenty of wind and breeze. Unlikely that it will be noticeable at all at any time. But do what you have to do............

As an ex-smoker I can't stand the smell of smoke, so I do notice when there are people smoking on the decks below. With so few places that people are allowed to smoke, there are tons of people on the 4th deck starboard smoking at all hours of the day and night and it does accumulate and go upwards. I would love to see no smoking in the casino!

  3. I was on this ship for the July 4th weekend -- too crowded, food not great, they seat you at separate individual tables instead of having you sit with other people who become your family for the week when you have assigned seating. The other thing I didn't like was that Serenity is not serene at all - the pool is too small and it is right next to the middle of the ship with very very loud music playing from the deck below. We had already booked for September 10 to head up north, hopefully things may have changed by then. My only tip is to bring a winter coat and gloves. July 4th weekend it was freezing up there, so I'm sure it will be colder when I go in September. The good parts: seaday brunch is awesome and the crew is extremely friendly and helpful.

  4. It doesn't go by how much money you've spent - it goes by the number of points you earn. At 1500 points you get your drinks free in the casino. At 5,000-7,000 (depending on how long the cruise is), you earn a free 5, 7, or 8 day cruise (inside room) for 2 - just pay the port tax and tips. You can upgrade to a balcony by paying the difference or if there are 2 poeple with the free inside room, the 2 certificates can be combined to get a balcony. Last year I was lucky in the casino (each time on Splendor) and received free cruises which I took in July, September and this past January. In January got another one which I am using on April 11 on Glory.
