I was looking to chat with someone that may already work for NCL in this position. I just had a phone interview and am looking for any pointers on landing the position.

Just returned yesterday from a cruise that did stop in Nassau. Have been to Nassau about 20 times on cruise stops but this time was the worst trip there ever. The building that you go through directly off the port is closed and under renovation and all the vendors are outside in small individual buildings and it is a mess. We quickly went to some favorite places and headed back to the ship. That stop was truly a waste of time. The streets there smelled of urine pretty bad, people harassed you to go on buggy rides, rent scooters, tours to Atlantis, getting your hair braided, and to just get a taxi around. We were also approached many times on Bay St. to buy drugs. We were very disappointed in Nassau this time around and will mostly like not go there again, or if we do, stay on the ship.

We are just off the Enchantment yesterday. I always take a 6 pack of bottled water with me and did this past weekend with no problem. I also seen many people with cases of waters as well. As for the parking, we park about 10 minutes offsite at the Park-N-Cruise and it is well worth the savings. Instead of port parking of $20.00 per day, we paid $7.99 per day! Google them and check for yourself. We use them every time and have never had any issues.

I have carried a 6 pack of sport bottled water with me onto almost every cruise. No one has ever said anything to me about bringing it onboard with me. I've also seen them delivered with luggage tags on them along with the luggage.

I'm searching for the recipe for the breakfast bread that is usually out at the WIndjammer buffet. It has some type of sugar on top of it and possibly a fruit of some sort in it? OMG, its soooooo good! If anyone has the name and recipe for it please share!!!!:)

I'm not sure if you can use Wyndham too (I didn't ask..) but we are going there in couple weeks and I talked to the hotel & was told it is $25pp for use of facility, towels and snorkeling included but no food/drink. You can't reserve online or ahead of time is what they told me. We plan on eating before get off ship and just taking some snacks for while we are there (however we have a 3yr old so we will prob only spend a few hours there and then go elsewhere). From all the reviews I have read on here it is supposed to be a great place.

So you got to use all that for $25pp? Did you snorkel? Does include a good area to snorkel on their beach? I heard there were jellyfish problems at Coco Cay, so thought I may snorkel while in port in Nassau here. I will be there on a cruise on 10/26. Hope the water is still warm!!!
