We were in Juneau on August 3 . Had a wee bit of rain when we got off the ship around noon. Not a problem at all. The rest of our cruise was dry and pleasant.

Cruise $5214 Canadian dollars for balcony cabin.

Airfare $615 pp from Winnipeg. I am sure the extras will add up quickly. Only booked one excursion so far. White pass rail $160 Canadian pp. Once in a lifetime they say. Some do this every year. I am sure it will be worth it!

Thanks for your response. We are also coming for a cruise that departs from Seattle. Planning on taking the Amtrak Cascades to Seattle after spending a day and a half in Vancouver. Also interested in Stanley Park and the aquarium. How far are they from this hotel?

Is it near the Amtrak station? Is it a safe area? Sorry for butting in....
