Just curious, we leave this Saturday, the 21st on Regal, have the Medallion App all ready but doesn't show anything in Journey View except the sailing of the ship to various ports. How do you see the activities and how do you enter your own events?

This was on the 2nd day of a short 3 day cruise. The pools are next to each other but separate. It just seemed weird how the band came back from a break and played to no one. It was mid to late afternoon. Seems like on a short cruise the pools should be open on a beautiful sunny day for the duration.

We were on the Navigator last week and were stumped by the pool closures mid afternoon. There were plenty people enjoying the pools and the band playing. They closed one then the other. The band continued to play while everyone left. We were in the Crown Lounge watching and wondering. Anyone.

Our first cruise was on the Song of America in the early 80's, too! I couldn't get over how huge and beautiful she was, at least until my DH opened the cabin door to our interior room! He was not a fan of the small cabin until a day or so later realizing that was a very small part of the cruise experience. Some 25 cruises later, we have graduated to larger and more luxurious cabins from time to time, but that first tiny cabin and wonderous cruise will always be one of my favorites.

Native Choice Tours was great in Costa Maya, visiting the Chacchoben ruins with a wonderful lunch and tortilla making visit in a Mayan village. In Roatan, we went snorkeling with Roatan Eco Tour. Allessandro and his staff took us to some beautiful snorkeling sites from the West End, ending in West Bay. Both groups were very accommodating for our small tour groups. Would use both again.

Just returned from a cruise to ABC islands and used Woodwind Snorkeling. They were truly outstanding! So knowledgeable, helpful and made sure beginners to experts were totally in their comfort zones. A-1 operation, and the food and drinks weren’t bad either! By far, our most memorable time on cruise.

Our first cruise was on Royal Caribbean's Song of America. Loved the romance of it all then in the 80s. Also loved the Bahamas before Merv G got hold of it and turned Paradise Island into Atlantis. Beautiful and tranquil place! We went to San Juan and St Thomas also. Been hooked ever since!

Thinking of trying the train into Rome as we are staying in a hotel close to the Termini. Has anyone any thoughts on its ease of accessing, especially with toting several pieces of luggage. I've heard the road to Rome is pretty congested and thought the train could be a fun option. Any advice is appreciated as this is my first Mediterranean cruise.

Thanks to all replies. Our TA suggested getting a transfer there but I like the sound of door-to-door drop off service.

Hi there, was wondering if anyone has taken the ship's transfer into Rome. We wanted to spend a few days there post cruise and curious where ship's transfer drops you off in town (rather than airport). Will be sailing on Royal Princess Sept 9 out of Barcelona. Our first Med cruise and excited and anxious! Any advice appreciated! Debbie and Joe

Thanks so much for your excellent review of the Ruby. We embark on August 21st. Hubby especially appreciates the info on MDR dressing and copies of the menus.
