I was on the Joy last week in the Haven.  Smoking is allowed at the very front on the sundeck where there are stools.  

Here is a pic of the area, there were usually two ashtrays next the middle most stools. IMG_0510.HEIC

Thank you for all of the dailies and menus!  My husband and I will be on the Joy on Saturday...can't wait!

I am struggling with packing the right clothes, are you finding that pants are suitable during the day or is it warm enough for capris?  We are expecting mid to high sixties, but with the ocean breeze I'm thinking pants.  Any perspective is very much appreciated.

I just arrived home from this cruise and was in the Haven.  I didn't see the fight, but I did see some of the aftermath.  Saw the NCL security personnel speaking with the guy being referred to as the "drunk" guy on the sun deck.  He had cuts on his face and blood on his shirt.   From what I heard the parents played a major role in the fight.  It sounded like the third guy who tried to break it up may have gotten the worst of it.

I heard that the child was about 13.

All in all very, very disturbing.    I don't care who paid what to be where, haven or a bar anywhere on the ship - the whole episode was completely absurd.

I really feel bad for the kid.

I have just received confirmation that we have a cabana reserved for barefoot beach (we are in a GS) on Labadee for our cruise next week. Also today, we realized that my son has spring break next week from college and I was able to get him on the cruise in a guarantee interior room.

We are so happy that he will be joining us on the cruise!

My question is - will he be able to enjoy the cabana with us even though he is not in a suite?

I am trying to reach the Concierge on the Navigator for information on a cabana for a March sailing. The spreadsheet indicates that Nadja is now in the DL and Amit Chattopadhyay boarded on 12-1-2015 in the CL.

The email link is for Nadja not Amit. I sent an email to Nadja about 3 weeks ago and have not heard back.

I am assuming that Nadja would pass the request along to Amit or maybe I will get a response as the cruise gets closer.

Any thoughts?
