October 18 sailing of Veendam.
If you were scheduled on the Oct 11th sailing, have changed to the 21 day sailing out of Boston and have received a New Booking Number, you need to rebook all
PINNACLE, SPA, and SHORE EXCURSIONS!
Anything booked under your old booking number for ANY PART of the 28 day sailing, HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Been there done that hopefully the DAM ship is sailing on the 18th my suitcase
is packed, my airline changed.

We are looking to book a cruise for 2015. We were on the NA last year, and enjoyed the private Cabana Club - now it's called the Retreat? I know that the Eurodam also has this area. Is anyone aware of additional ship which have had this area added through refurb, or will have it added at some time during 2014? It was one of the highlights of our vacation, and I am not opposed to going back on the same ship, I just want to know what options are available.
Thank you in advance for the assistance.
On my previous Mediterranean cruise Aug./13 the private Cabanas on the "Noordam" sports deck were never in use that I saw.
Too busy sightseeing?

We spent several weeks last Fall in Cabin 371 on the Maasdam and do not remember hearing noises indicating that we were under a galley. I don't think we even considered what was on the deck above us.
Initially, I was not thrilled about our location on Lower Prom but we wanted to get on this particular sailing and had limited options. As it turned out we really liked this location and cabin.
We sailed prior to the Maasdam's Dry Dock so perhaps changes were made in the galley areas during that time resulting in excessive noise from the deck above.
I also sailed on the Maasdam this February and had LP cabin 401 for 25 days had no problem sleeping, a slight bang so now and then but nothing excessive.
I always book an outside cabin on Lower Promenade on HAL, you can pretend of having a huge balcony without paying double the price.
Don't have a regular TA but shop the net for the best price and prefer to do my own homework. ;) We Dutch are frugal ya know!

Are cruise companies now lowering their prices as oil is way less then half
