Unfortunately those menus didn't come through either.

We are on Avalon Passion. We have not been able to use our magnets.
So no metal walls on the Passion? That's what we are sailing in August and I just bought a few magnets. Sounds like I should leave them at home.

I would also look into Avalon. They have Active and Discovery cruises with many great options.

Tell me more about these magnets! What kind did you use? Those sound like they could be very handy.

The airlines and the rest of the tourist industry are pressuring the US government to lift the re-entry testing requirements. Some key spokes people have said it looks promising for this to be lifted soon. I am very hopeful that the the testing requirement will be a thing of the past before our trip in August. It would be one less thing to worry about!

I am also closely following the situation. We are booked on a Danube cruise leaving from Budapest in August, heading towards Germany. My sister and I will be travelling with my 84 year old mother, who has never been to Europe. Since our trip isn't until August, we have more time to see how things play out. My heart breaks for the people of the Ukraine. We certainly don't want to get in the way of any aid.
I am also assuming that if the cruise line (Avalon) has to cancel, that we may be able to book a different cruise, perhaps in Western Europe.

We just got home from our cruise with Avalon from Budapest to Passau. Originally we were to disembark at Regensburg, but water level was too low. We didn't have any issues between Budapest and Passau. We boarded in Budapest on 8/4 and disembarked in Passau on 8/11. It was a wonderful trip and I am very grateful that we were able sail.
