Once we board at our home port are we allowed to disembark and walk around the area, or do we have to remain on the ship?

We've gotten several of the travel mugs and tervis tumblers in the past and they r the BEST gifts ! Would have been very pleased with those! We sail again in Feb on the Breeze ....hopefully they run out of visors and stationary boxes by then ![emoji6]

We were on the same cruise. We had sailed on Freedom 2 weeks earlier and got the lovely croc visors...we gave them away to 2 cute little kids who LOVED them! I did go to GS and ask about trading them but was told there was nothing else but they assured me that our Magic Cruise we would b getting the USB chargers . So, I was disappointed in the wooden stationary gifts....and GS told me they had Croc Visors if I wanted to substitute ...ahhhaaa....so I've decided I can laminate the little circular cards and turn them into coasters and maybe use the wooden boxes for jewelry or knock knacks! Oh well....NO big deal....

We have been to nearly every tea time on all of our 24 cruises. There's no cost but recently Carnival dropped the "flavored" tea bag options on the ship unless u wanna pay $1.95 for gourmet tea choices. Tea time is always a nice relaxing break with very good pastries, cakes and "finger sandwiches" that u won't see on any menu or buffet. Just an FYI, we have been on John H bloggers cruise and the "spread" that John arranges for the bloggers cruise tea time is much larger, much much NICER than the regular tea times! You will b disappointed if u go to tea time expecting the huge selection seen on JH,s blog.

Hubbie and I just completed our 24th cruise and we r searching options for our milestone cruise. I understand we will b given 25% of total fare in OBC but we r wondering how to use it all... We don't really drink or spend much on souvenirs, but we do enjoy the casino. Can we use it as cash in casino and "cash out " any remaining credit?

My hubbie and I just completed our 24th cruise and we r researching cruises for Milestone. I understand the 25% OBC for each of us .....HOW do u "spend" all the OBC if u don't drink or buy lots of souvenirs ? Is there a way to redeem it by converting it to cash/use in casino?

Also Caesar salad and bread . They do have gluten free bread on the ships too u just have to ask for it ...they are very accommodating with gluten free options .
-
Yes the lunchtime menu is smaller than dinner menu but it is free ...... It's a gluten free pasta and then u choose what sauce u want and I think there's a chicken /Alfredo option as well ......it's all very good!

I have cruised "gluten free" with Carnival several times and YES there's gluten free choice on the Cucina menu...enjoy

Yes, it is brand new. We were actually at Bannister in October and by December 7 they were going to this new beach!

It was nicer than Bannister , new NICE beach chairs , calm water . I think the meal was a BBQ chicken, rice and beans and cole slaw. I have a few pix from last month but can't get them to load. But definitely nicer than Bannister!

It is NOT Bannister Island. We have been to Bannister many times. We used to go with a private excursion, then Carnival offered their Beach Break which was tendering directly to Bannister for the day. In October we went to Bannister with Carnival and we booked the beach break again a few weeks ago but this time we were tendered to a new beach. Not sure of the name but it was very nice , I'm our opinion, nicer than Bannister!! We r going again in February and will be doing the excursion again.
